So 9 wins and a trip to the playoffs isn't good enough?

Getting embarrassed by the Cats is never good enough.
I don't like to lose to the cats but it isn't going to keep me from donating the to UM or from going to the upcoming games we have this season. Fact is, I want to support it more because of it. GO GRIZ

Great post, Berserker. Over the years, I have noted two things about the Griz fans that are shitty losers. 1) many did not attend the University of Montana as students. 2) many never played an organized sport in their life. This obviously isn't every one of them but it has always seemed to be the majority of them.

Amen...Griz are 24-9 since 1986 against the Bobcats.

Re: The sky is falling

No, what is shows is that Griz fans have eyes, can read scores, and have the ability to recognize deficiencies in a team's performance, or lack thereof. While you can admonish Griz fans who are angry and embarrassed at getting trounced by the Scats, do NOT insult their collective intelligence by trying to excuse what was a pathetic performance on the field and by the coaching staff. If you and Hauck want to go hug the Scats and sing songs go right ahead. I'll watch them next week and support them, but at least be honest when evaluating results. If you think things are smelling like roses, well, then, welcome to YOUR world.

We get it. You really don't care about football, just about the brand because of how it affects you personally. They have won 9 games and are going to the playoffs. I suspect you would have been here with the same complaint if the Griz went 7-4, beat the Cats, but missed the playoffs.

All Losses... I feel bad for all of those businesses, professors, etc. that went bankrupt in Bozeman when the Bobcats lost 15 in a row. Must have been tragic. It will be good to host a couple of playoff games again and looking forward to more in the future. How many extra games (playoff games) did the Griz host during Hauck’s first tenure? I’m too lazy to look and I’m also too lazy to figure out how much money that brought to the city of Missoula and surrounding area. By the way are you still in the ticket selling business? Just asking

Part of sports but it's not going to be 15 years. If it is I'll be 78 years old

I’m a Griz fan...Sorry probably said that wrong. But I was patient during all those years :D
Whew!!! I don't want to have to wear depends for adults the next time the Griz beat the cats

The loss to the Cats is one loss! The new season starts next week; or hopefully the week after. Everyone goes in 0-0! It’s one loss, and now is the time to go on a streak. It sucks losing to the Cats, but move on and get ready for the playoffs! Not much else you can do; except get a life, and stop over reacting!

He brought a lot of money and was more worried about kicking the Cats assess... What was the saying: I wish there was the 5th quarter so we could kick their assess some more...not worrying about the rivalry becoming too intense. And, I'm not sure about starting a ticket business,
but if I was it probably won't be in Missoula, because unlike the last time Hauck was here you can get tickets anytime you want.

Hauck still can’t stand the Bobcats. Couldn’t believe he said what he said, but wonder what led to it. Interesting to see the two presidents of the respected Universities walk out for the coin toss. I may be wet behind the ears but I’ve never seen that before. I asked the ticket question as I noticed that in the past you “traded” a lot on Egriz. Yes I creeped you because I really couldn’t understand the deep dive you took after the loss :thumb:

You could get a ticket anytime you wanted when Hauck was the coach before.

You could always buy them from people outside the stadium but not from the ticket office like you can know. The University would never do a flash sale for a game like Weber just to sell tickets.
