Actually, it is. If the Griz would have won in Bozeman the year he fired he would still be the coach

What does this have to do with "Tell that to the professors losing their jobs or all of the other industries that depend on the U for their survival."
He lost his job because his perforfamce was harming the brand of the University and costing the community millions of dollars in lost revenue.

He lost his job because of back to back non-playoff seasons. Boy, it must suck for you that Bobby got the Griz in the playoffs this year.

That demonstrates your ignorance. Pflugrad took the Griz to the semi-finals but it was perceived his players were embarrassing the brand and the University, and he was sent packing.

So the question seems to be..is there a direct relationship between a drop in enrollment,4th quarter revenues by small businesses, and recruitment for the football team and the success of the football team. I hate to say but this type of loss is probably a PR nightmare.

To demonstrate your ignorance, Stitt was let go for on-field performance, Pflu was let go for the circus that developed off the field.

Both were fired for harming the brand. Hauck harmed the brand today.

Well, I guess they should fire the coach after every loss to the Cats or failure to make the playoffs. Sounds like a recipe for success for a rebuilding program. TBH, the brand is currently so low, that this really has little impact.

I know the Front Street Pour Boyz are pissed. It’s not healthy to piss off the FSPBs, lest you end up sleeping with the kayakers. That said, TurdLauncher, I think you are overreacting. Talk to the Bosses in Kansas City first.

It's a good question. Since 1986 thats what has been the expectation..Win or find a new coaching gig. I think most would agree its been pretty successful.

So 9 wins and a trip to the playoffs isn't good enough?

Getting embarrassed by the Cats is never good enough.

I don't think anyone likes losing to the Cats, but you are going off the deep end.

Never seen a more mercurial fan base. You guys went from “we should be #2 JMU sucks” last week to blaming the refs for everything, firing Bobby at half time and crucifying Baer. This fan base really was a shit show today.

Get it together, you dipshits. You’re not Bozeman State fans or Ewoo meth makers. You don’t need to be like this.

The team is 9-3 and likely headed to a first round bye. They got beat badly today, I get it, but maybe take a deep breath and not throw the baby out with the bathwater?

Indeed, agree. Always good to see healthy perspective.

Losing to the Cats and getting embarrassed are two different things.

I don't like to lose to the cats but it isn't going to keep me from donating the to UM or from going to the upcoming games we have this season. Fact is, I want to support it more because of it. GO GRIZ

Great post, Berserker. Over the years, I have noted two things about the Griz fans that are shitty losers. 1) many did not attend the University of Montana as students. 2) many never played an organized sport in their life. This obviously isn't every one of them but it has always seemed to be the majority of them.

Fire Griz - you're full of "S". Hauck got beat by the best NAIA Frontier Coaching staff in the Big Sky. No offense, No defense, no special teams. You can try and polish this BS all you want, but there ARE issues that need to be addressed. The refs didn't beat UM today, although they ignored countless holding and PI calls, block in the bad, PF calls, etc. NO offensive line, NO Ostmo, NO Defense, no coaching adjustments.. If Hauck wants a "kindler and gentler nation" let him go be a Scat. His team showed NO sense of pride, effort, or anything else. Ignore facts all you want, but HONEST fans will identify weaknesses and expect improvement (where there has been NONE). Secondary horrible all year, no improvement, none. #17 shouldn't start, he's small, slow, and well, doesn't deserve to start. His stats are padded because of defensive scheme. DO NOT trash Griz fans for expecting quality and WINS against the Scats. They obviously care about winning the BIG game. We WILL continue to support the Griz, but not when they don't deserve it. Sneed worse than useless today, the vacant stares in the eyes of defenders mind-boggling. We SHOULD look for new DC if he can't improve secondary play and design defensive schemes to defeat what EVERYONE knew would be a run dominated offense. Wow, what an embarrassment. Better drink some Red Bull for next game...

Did you feel this way after the Weber game? None of us are perfect man. Sometimes we get our asses thumped! I sure have and not just in sports.
