The Real Reason We Lost!

You realize, Grizzoola, that sometimes those passes into the flat are 3rd options, right? You also realize that our outside receivers are not getting open, right? You also realize that in the NFL the speed of the defense is more likely to blow the flat patterns up, right?

Hey your Cowboys took down #13 BSU, you should be in much better spirits dude! :thumb:

I'm nearly hammered and pretty god damn excited! Haven't seen a win like in most of my Cowboy fan-dom. Last win like this was my sophomore year of college in 2002.

In Stitt's mind, he won. He got his 94 plays to EWU's 62.
Still wondering about that "90" play metric and the "fourth quarter strategy." In someone else's words, "they sounded good on paper." But, exactly how does that work again?

That's why we need a mobile QB. Besides, Brady no sooner gets the ball than he throws to the sideline. No way it's a "3rd option."

Titelist, why even bother with him? He thinks Washington-Grizzly Stadium should be domed lol. There is no WAY Grizzoula is friends with Bobby Hauck. NO WAY.
You're a pain, Havre. So, because I propose a dome (glass one, btw), everything else I say deserves a "lol"?

Wait, so Wyoming shouldn't have fired Bohl after his first two seasons?

Griz should go for 2 after every touchdown. If they convert half the time it's like going 100% on kicks. Semenza almost missed the kick on the first TD as well.
Most apparent to me re: Stitt/Hauck comparison is Hauck placed so much importance on STs, which many times won the Griz games in close ones. Stitt needs to emphasize STs to the level Hauck did. Missed FGs & PATs take a lot out of an O.

Hey! Cowboys are back, Titleist! Good to see former NDSU coach bringing winning ways to WY!

Like everyone else that has played EWU, we couldn't stop their receivers. Thank God for graduations. Also, Gage will be winning the WP award this year. Two more years with that sonfbitch.
We knew going in we would have to get more than 35 to win. Going in, EWU was allowing 33 per game; we get 16. There is the nutshell.

Write what you want on Egriz. But, the reason we lost was two fold. 1) EWU is a great team! 2) We dropped a lot of balls.

1) Griz are not a good team
2) EWU caught lots of balls

Im tired of all the naysayers... give me a break.

The Griz have lost three games on the road to Poly (Top 15 team), EWU (top 3 team) and NAU in flagstaff.

This hardly makes them a "bad" team.

1) I didn't say "bad"
2) It was sarcastic post

We lost when we had a chance to go up 14-0 and our receiver didn't make a catch he should have made. EWU goes for the quick strike and Kupp beats double coverage. 7-7 and we never recovered. Their receivers caught jump balls and ours dropped balls in their hands. They need to start consistently winning the 1 on 1 battles against better than average defenders.

According to the experts on this particular fan site, yes, he should have been fired after year two. Maybe even after his first year, as some suggested after last season as well.

I'm sorry, and I try to never bitch about specific players. ... but, there was one Griz receiver who I thought could catch nothing on Saturday. I would have stopped throwing to him.... But then, I'm neither a QB nor a coach.

They looked good. Bohl is getting it done, predictably.

Fun game. Good rivalry. Enjoyed talking with Grizz fans, regardless of the outcome. Griz fans are typically well knowledged in the FCS arena, which makes it fun to talk with them.
