The OL is built for McDowell and they look alive when McDowell is in.
Take the game against NAU and prove me wrong

I agree.

On the other hand, I don’t believe I’ve EVER seen consecutive plays where the entire O-line was literally just standing there, as spectators, not attempting to block ANYONE, while watching their QB run around for his life.

As far as I’m concerned, they can all go sit the bench for the rest of the year and lets see what we have in the other guys. They absolutely quit yesterday. It was one of the most disheartening things I’ve ever seen as a Griz fan.

"Disheartening" is the perfect word to describe what I saw, too. As we were watching the game on TV, my 12 year old son (who plays center on his middle school football team) suddenly says, "What on earth is #61 doing? He's just standing around, doing nothing and blocking nobody while the play is still going on! I'd get pulled off the field if I did that."

#61 stood around a final couple plays....walked off....and never back on field.

Wonder if he came to or was invited to practice today?

I hope his fucking locker is already cleaned out, honestly. He literally quit in the middle of a game that was still (technically) in question.

I finally saw the clip of the one play in particular. Absolutely shameful. He should never be allowed to put on a Griz jersey again...or perhaps he already made that decision for himself since he literally quit and walked by Vidlak while he was still running for his life with Lumberjacks swarming him. Not sure I've ever seen anything like that before.

Just seen it a few hours ago as well. He literally looked at Vidlak and kept walking. His locker should have been cleaned out on Sunday. Let’s hope it happened and set a damn example. Absolutely disgraceful!

I've been purposefully not commenting on any of this stuff since Saturday, but that one really go to me. There is literally no justification for what happened.

As predicted. They are now eating their own. :(

It's a good thing that fans are not coaches. Things are never as good or as bad as fans make them out to be.

Calm down and enjoy the game. A good stiff drink helps me.

Enjoy watching us get curbed stomped by a team we should beat handily and in the process watch our O-Line stand there and literally watch our QB get killed? Seems like you've been drinking a bit to much

Here's the thing, though...for the first time, in at least half a decade, they are that bad. That NAU game was an illustration of how far we have to go to compete with the more progressively offensive minded coaches in the league.

Believe me, I feel the same pain. After MSU beat hell out of us, I was a little disheveled myself. However, when I got home and my dog jumped into my arms as usual, I had my drink and reminded myself that it's a game. I feel better now and there is always next time we play. :geek:

Back in the day. 2000-2010. Almost nothing the rest of theteam did mattered because your o-line could just crush people. It was so disheartening to play you. Hard to believe you are where you are now up front.

With the same coach.

I remember this coach the first time around. He does not learn from experience.
