Unreal...

I didn't see the Fly Sweep all day...

Sandy, your bias against Stitt shines through as usual.

Ya, kinda lost my head there, still under the ether of watching a game with a dominate offense, should have kept my mouth shut.

My bias will diminish about coach Stitt offense with time, I hope.

Ha that's clever, GB.

It's simply amazing what NDSU continues to do. There will never be another program replicate what NDSU has done. I hate them for the success, but recognize what they have accomplished. They are the Yankees of college football.

Like them or hate them, (I choose to hate them, lol) that is one hell of a program in Fargo! Kudo's to the Bison. It reflects well on the whole FCS, Jacksonville St and EWU look like pretty good programs nationally now.

I believe this also reflects not only on how good NDSU is, but really how much closer the good FCS teams are to the upper BCS teams than people want to believe.

The reason NDSU is where we are, is mindset. We believe we can win every game and win it all every year then we go out and do it.

Reading a lot of the comments coming from Montana fans, it is not surprising that Montana has fallen to where you are at. Lots of complacency and living in the past.

It's games like this that make beating the Bison even sweeter. Not sure when it will happen again but you've got to beat the best to be the best. I have faith the Griz are going to build something special in the coming years.

Congrats. Now, isn't there a buffet you should be at celebrating?

Quick question: if you take your hands off the wheel, can you steer with your belly?

Your post would have been respected had you just kept it to the 1st part. To me, that is true. Then you go bashing a respected FCS opponent. The likes of you are why GRIZ fans and other fan bases root against NDSU.

As for Montana, most our fans are disappointed and upset we are no longer dominating nationally. Many of us believe we have the right coach in place to get us back to elite status. The problem is, a few of the naysayers have no damn patience, in realizing it usually takes 3 to 4 years when a coach changes the system the way Stitt has.

Speaking of Stitt, it appears to me, he is not recruiting to just win the Big Sky. He is recruiting to catch NDSU, then knock them off their perch in the FCS playoffs. The question is, when will the GRIZ finally have all the pieces in place? Considering so many sophmores and rs FR are playing great minutes this season, it is likely a year away, maybe 2. Rest assured, The GRIZ NATION is gunning for NDSU!!

In the meantime, how about you focus on NDSU and learn to be a grateful winner. Thankfully, most your fans and your team have a better mentality than you do.

Gonna be interesting to see how many FBS teams stop scheduling NDSU. Even the announcer said at the end there is absolutely no upside for an AD to schedule this team. Sometimes these wins are great for FCS. Sometimes there are bigger $ and issues at play. Lots of fcs schools need that big money play up game to make their budget.

Congrats to the Bison! Great game, and great accomplishment.

Now come on Griz! Beat the Fuskies next year!

There is no upside for a FBS school to play an top-tier FCS team. None. Conferences will increasingly set policies prohibiting these games - certainly the power 5. The loss today not only probably takes Iowa out of the top 25, it also hurts the BIG 10 overall.

It was a good win by NDSU - very impressive. And, their Defense did win that game. HUGE stops at the end and the Pick 6 were the difference. FBS caliber o-line didn't hurt as well. :)

So because it is a fact you admit on here regularly,I am bashing your program? Your coach even says he wants to get back to Montana football? Lets face it you have a lot of posters on here running off at the mouth with nothing to back it up. Respect is earned son and right now, you are going to have to deal with comments.

This! As fun as it is for NDSU or E Washington or whoever to win games like this it doesn't do the FCS any good. Several bad things happen.

1. You tend to get your team beat up, no as many scholarships ect ect.
2. The BCS fans no matter what consider it a fluke so they chuckle it off.
3. BCS teams stop scheduling FCS guys that need the $$.
