It ain't over yet. 60 minute game. Cal Poly was down to PSU 21-7 at the half Thursday and came back to win. Griz need to regroup and not hit the panic button and come out and play Griz football.

I think they are a little worried about Van's fragility...a legitimate concern. As much as I think this is the worst head coach in the history of the world, he gets a pass on that one. Griz need Van all year.

Don't you guys remember getting smoked by sac state two years ago and going on to win every game till the chipper? We just have to clean some things up and we'll be fine. Our guys have been punched in the mouth the first half. We get the ball to start the second half. Lets see how they respond to adversity!

I think the Griz could beat those fucks...but we'd have to play the best ball this team and staff have ever put together, and the fucks would have to have a less than perfect game. But, crazier shit has happened...

it is called good proactive coaching.........playing the opponent....griz coaches should take notes...its thing to do to get the edge......play where your opponent is least likely to anticipate your moves....like in war.....brute force and in your face does not always take precedent to take bring home a victory......check out coach Bohl he gets it.

The Griz do need him all year. But they aren't gonna keep him running him up the middle. That should be Wilson's job. We have needed someone to plow for a few yards this game and have yet to see his number called. Don't quite understand this this play calling. I think playing OPSU right before we started regular season was very bad for us. The lack of intensity is showing. A bye week would have been better

I hope I'm wrong, but it seems we now have the answer to the question: "Is [opponent] this bad, or the Griz that good?" Yes, those opponents were that bad.

Realistically, the season starts NOW. I do not think the Griz were as bad as they looked in the first half, or that NAU was as good as they seemed ... although they are clearly pretty damn good. The simple fact is: The opponents for the "pre-season" (OOC) games were not good enough to toughen the Griz for the season. Not pointing fingers ... you play the games as scheduled. (And few on here thought UND would turn out to be as pathetic as they've shown so far.)

We honestly have no idea whether or not the Griz are good enough to come out and turn this thing around in the second half. But if they cannot at least play it even the rest of the way ... it's going to be another long season. Myself, I have to believe the do have the talent to come out and kick a** the rest of the way.
