True. However, after a couple games anyone with working eyes could see that he wasn't going to be the answer. I never understood why the coaching staff stuck with him so long. I'm sure he's a great young man but he isn't a D1 quarterback. Ah Yat is a completely different story. He's the real deal.
 
In case anyone thought the last two defensive performances were a fluke, they have given up just 105 yards and 4 first downs in the first half! That combined with the way the offense is playing is going to make this Griz team very tough to beat. And IF we can pull out a win next week, I actually think this team could make a serious title run

God I hope that translates to a strong performance vs MSU . Their run game is just….good.

I keep thinking the same thing about a deep run. Frisco is only a couple hours from me and I would LOVE to go to a title game but I'm afraid to get my hopes up.

Why can't our linemen learn to release the defender before dragging them to the ground? They get called every time on that.
