This shows you what Brown is capable of. The kid will
be exceptional as he matures. Just have the OC pull his head out. Pass first and then the run will eventually open up. Not that hard to play to your strengths.

Passing on first down is the easiest thing in football to do. Everyone in modern offense does it. Except us.

Roseys job should be on the line.

Yeah, I’m far from a coach, but running a fifth stringer constantly isn’t really cutting it. Hopefully we will force some more offensive offsides when people come back in the 4Q.

I feel the specter of covid/flu around the team. Not the same intensity the past couple games.

We just aren’t good on offense

We aren’t good on desense today either.
Maybe, we're just not as good as we think, or had hoped, we are. Like I said in another thread. No way are we the fifth best team in the country.

We're beat up. But talented. Coaches need to figure out how to get the most out of what we have and what our players can offer.

Go Griz!

Kudos to Shaun Rainey for his suit. Looking dapper in Griz colors and all.
Yes, but he did get on Haucks S**t list there

“And YOU can [add] on ME waiting for you in the parking lot.” would have been a great response. You know, to ease the tension.

Honest question here. How many would prefer Hauck being the head coach and Stitt being the OC? I would love to have that offense back while maintaining our special teams and defense.

Haven't read any of this thread yet. With that said, Considering, Sac St knew the GRIZ would be passing in the 2 minute drill.. Brown looked great with passing. Please, Bobby, open it up in the 2nd half. I'll save the complaints until after the game.

On the plus side, we may have missed a couple of TD opportunities but had some really high quality three and outs.

Id be happy with a 14-12 loss so long as we prove we can run 2 yards three times per series

I'd be good with that so long as pregame was electric and the music selection improved.

been saying that KB is doing great and we need to air it out. We have the weapons so we need to do it.

Got to stop running the single back zone read into a stacked box. Our o-line cannot win vs an 8 or 9 man box.

3 wide, Grossman on the end of the line and X in the backfield to spread Sac St out. Get Akem or Roberts In some single coverage mismatches and continue to use Grossman in the seam. Work the run off the pass instead of this asinine zone read scheme that Sac St clearly prepared well for.

Also, when you are down to RB17, go ahead and feed the weapons you have. That would be the WRs and good TEs.

Meh. Sac was in prevent D. They were conceding the immediate yardage. Don't count on that out the gate in the 3rd Q.

Not being an ass here. I wasn’t that impressed with Stitt’s offenses. I actually like what Sac State has going. Hauck needs to find someone with a fresh mind on offense. The U of M has arguably the best facilities and fan base in FCS. No reason the offense shouldn’t look like EWU’s. Regardless the OC - the head coach is responsible for team performance. I am personally tired of UM struggling on offense. Figure it out or get a damn OC who can.

We need to take the reigns off or roll over offensively. Our line isn’t getting jack for push.

O line coach and O coordinator both need an upgrade

Any o line is going to look bad running into a 7-8 man box. Maybe throw on first downs and spread it all out a bit. Ya know coaches calling plays to put their guys in best positions to succeed.
