i think liberty took the punt receiver 'halo rule' a little too seriously during nguyen's return. he really burned the flames on that one.

not bashing..just dumbfounded how religion has worked its insidious way into athletics, NASCAR, politics..but never in anything truly important like wars, invasions, bank and Wall St. Crimes.

A win is a win. This one was pretty pedestrian. Hats off to the Liberty defense...they were the first to bottle our offense up and embarrassed us a few times on D. If not for their turn overs, this would have been a much different game.

Just goes to show how important stats are. Last week it was the other way round with the same outcome.
That would be an interesting stat. How many teams win per week on the scoreboard but not on the stat sheet. :lol:
 
i only got to see the second half, where the score was 14-10 liberty. turner gill said during the halftime interview that christ would be with them the second half, and maybe he was. christ, our pass defense was as porous as i've ever seen it, and our passing attack was totally out of whack.
 
What? Liberty never had the lead.

And if Christ was with Liberty in the second half, he was giving them an atomic wedgie.

Took me a minute also. What he meant (I assume) is that Liberty outscored the Griz 14-10 in the second half. Hardly enough to overcome their 24-zip halftime deficit.
