I agree the fans never show up for the third quarter and I think it shows on the field

Tailgates are too good....Beer flows too easy...Been that way since the early 90's.

I cannot possibly criticize people for it, but the place does have a feeling of a mausoleum sometimes.

I'll criticize people for it get back and scream for your team

I agree, but at this point, for some it is that extra beer or bloody mary over getting your ass back in the seats. Just a big party for some. Drives me batty for sure. I just at point continue to beat the get back in your seats for the second half horse. Comes up just about every year.
I have been to many stadiums but have never seen a crowd that seems so in love with alcohol. I know crowds don't win games but in a stadium like WG, the team feeds off the emotion and when it is missing the second half can seem like something is missing....Never seen anything like it.

I agree. Sort of a culture thing.

I have been a bunch of places in the west to watch football games and you are dead on. Been to games at BSU where there is a vibrant tailgate culture, but it doesn't hold a candle to the intensity of UofM's and the amount of alcohol consumed.

Apparently the brilliant halftime adjustment from Delaney and crew was to stop getting the ball to the best player of the field (TraVon Van).
