Swilly?????!!! Come on now, you know better than that! Hell, I was Celtic fan LONNNNGGGGG before you even knew what a Laker was...Hell kid, I was a Big Sky Eagle before your parents met too---
Let's play a game:
Lakers are to Celtics as Bobcats are to _______. (Here's a hint: Griz maybe?)
OK, truce? It's not as much fun when you get really, really pissed...
That analogy makes no sense. When do the Bobcat ever win? once? Ill take 13 to 17 with a MORE than bright upside. Lakers fan/NBA fans would not be surprised to see another 3peat if not more. I'm not mad, just sayin....One year doesn't make up for the last 22. Unless your a boston fan
So all the NBA means to you is Lakers v Celtics in the NBA finals? Plus, how many of those matchups were before 1970? Once again, I am looking towards the future, not the past.
Last year the Celtics were suppose to win the title, shipping the ENTIRE farm and everything. While the Lakers were projected to have another 1st round exit but instead they blew through the West without Bynum. I'd say this year is a title or bust
From Wikipedia: "The Celtics currently lead in total championships with 17 to the Lakers' 14; together, the two teams' 31 championships account for half of the 62 championships in NBA history."
Yeah, I'd say Celtics/Lakers finals ARE the NBA...
That said, both have tough roads back. The Pistons are poised to make a run, as are the Cavs. The West is loaded with San Antonio SI's pick...
