I thought this was interesting, it's in the article releasing the Griz schedule in the Missoulian:

The student body is returning to its old haunts at Dahlberg Arena- for at least one game - in the Montana Grizzlies' basketball season opener, coach Wayne Tinkle announced.

When the Griz face Colorado State in their season opener on Nov. 9, students will return to the east courtside seats they once occupied on a regular basis. For now, at least, it's a one-game trial.

“If the students respond, the administration has said it will look into doing some more,” Tinkle said.

Wonder what will the GSA members that have seats in the east courtside will think?

Another interesting thing about the schedule: Both Griz and Lady Griz play the Cats on same day and same time. Just different places. That is a first. Not sure I will like that because can't watch them both. Guess go to the game and bring your TV.

I think there will be some changes to the schedule before season starts.

missoulian got scooped... i'm sure that's not new.

For the sake of RPI I would of preferred about two less patsies.
This would have been a good year to schedule UW Huskies. The
Griz would have a shot at them I think.

Didn't we play a 1-16 game in the NCAA tourny a few years ago? But your right now would be a good shot.

It's a tough schedule though. Expect the Griz to win about half of their OOC games, but they'll still win the Big Sky. :thumb:
