Sounds familiar to our excuses. The NDSU QB is no better than Humphrey. The difference is their O-line. It all starts and ends there. And our line was frankly not very good.

But then again, this is the Scat team I saw Nov 20.
 
Rovig trying the Mellott approach….throw it up and hope your WR wins the battle….only this ain’t SHSU defenders…
 
McCutcheon (spelling?) as one of their big time players should have made both of those catches. Not stepping up.
 
More of a “if we’d had your path to the NC”, we’d be there instead of you.

But would we have defended any better than the Cats? Both MSU and UM would have looked decent on offense with a healthy #1 QB, but would it have mattered? Looking to next year, how long will Mellott last carrying 95% of the offense. Sorry I won't get to watch him in this game though.
