The GRIZ vs. GRiZ

I am curious if any of you eGrizers have to deal with the annoying DJ GRiZ fans as much as I do in Colorado? It usually only happens in ski towns in Colorado, but occasionally in other parts of the state as well...whereas a young 20-something will see my Griz hat and say something like, "Bro...nice hat!" It takes me 1 second to immediately know that they think I listen to DJ GRiZ. If they are Montana fans, they always say "Go Griz!" I used to explain...now I just say thanks. I am sure that those of you in Montana don't have to deal with this...but what about the rest of you? Very annoying.

This is one of those moments that I realize I have gotten too old to be cool. I have never heard of a DJ GRiZ.

I did have a Cat fan in SLC go out of their way to come over to me eating with my daughter in the airport to smack talk me because of my Griz hat. That was actually fun.

For the record...I have never heard of him either until about a year ago when I started get the comments. Not my kind of music.

I've often been annoyed that his "GRiZ" logo looks similar to Montana's Griz script logo...

Yes. Has happened to me in Dallas more than once. Lol. It’s especially funny that the sweatshirt literally has MONTANA in huge letters on it also.

Yes, has happened to me in San Diego after guy noticed sticker on my truck. Very confusing situation.
