That is funny, you are concerned about the non-qualifiers, but realize you cant challenge the HS stadium or meth head fan base.

As EWU fans we don't defend our stadium because we all hate our stadium. But we're not fans of our stadium. We're fans of our football program. So we prefer to talk about football games and not stadiums. Pretty simple really.
You are not very good at this smack talk stuff. Im trying to get ready for Griz cat week.

Right. Forgot you guys were the best at message board smack talk too.

Very good, now if we can just get some democrats to realize Hillary is the most corrupt politician in US history and the Donald is a disgusting twit, it will be a good day indeed.

Exactly? You have the better team. But instead of enjoying it you're over here with your panties in a twist. Seems like a waste.

Kinds funny how quiet the Eagles fans were prior to the game. They have sure come out to talk now. Not surprising.

There was really no smack talk needed. We didn't play well in that game, but the difference in talent was significant enough that we didn't really need to...again, no smack intended.

As to the OP, it is indeed tough to beat a team twice in one season. However, as someone pointed out...it can be done (see 2014). I don't think that point was intended as smack, either.

Good luck the rest of the way. I think the UNC game might be tougher than some on here think it will be. Their talent has improved drastically from where they were 1-2 years ago...although they've not shown a lot of consistency.

One, can't tell if the OP is serious or not. We're in serious trouble in the round of 16, if we make it there.

Two, of course they don't. There's a reason Screaming Eagle spends all his time on places like here or Bisonville; he craves an audience for his buffoonery. No one in their state gives a shit, so they have to settle for our attention.

I'm serious. I believe that we can beat both teams this year, and will be motivated to do so in the playoffs. IMO, losing these last two games are going to really jump start this team for a strong finish. Just because it happened in another year, means nothing. This is a different year, and a different week.

We'd most likely be looking at 3 straight road games, then Frisco. If we cannot beat NAU and Poly on the road, how would we get through EWU, Chattanooga, and then Sam Houston?

if the roles were reversed, we would be saying the same thing. Side note: The pix on Screamin's sig line screams high school stadium. Actually an embarrassing HS stadium in TX. How do they recruit to that?

Fortunately high school kids care more about winning than stadiums.
But if you guys were recruiting a team of stadium fans, you'd be the best at that!

It also helps recruiting when you are in a state of 7M people and you can accept non-qualifiers, but it doesn't take away from you having one of the ugliest HS stadiums in the country with a meth head fan base.

Lets hear you name all those Non Qualifiers that played against the Griz on Saturday...

Can I have your roster from the last 5 years please?

It will be EWU (who I believe we can beat), NDSU (who is beatable this year) and maybe Sam Houston State - but are they really THAT good? Who have they played?

I see no problem with all those games being winnable.

Speaking of mascots, the shirts the e-gals were selling at the game last week made me laugh. I thought it was a funny joke at first but they were legit school sponsored disasters. Someone please post a pic. It was the single most disappointing thing about the trip--that I was too hammered to remember to take a pic. It's eyes look crossed, it mouth is open. So dumb looking. derp-a-derp.

It's gotten so weak over here in recent years. HS stadium, ugly turf, directional school, commuter driven enrollment, big school rejects and meth (which still doesn't make sense coming from the home to the "Montana Meth Project").

Oh well, come August, we can start hearing about how the Griz are back and will own the Big Sky once again.

I believe you may well be confusing Montana with another institution in this great state.

Nice to see an honest post coming from an beagle fan, though I really didnt see much about us owning the BigSky in the preseason. There were a few, but overall a lot of mixed comments. EW and/or NAU were predicted losses by a lot of people early on. We got a little full of ourselves after the blowouts, but overall reality of our FB teams has set back in. I still believe we have the ability to beat anyone or lose to anyone. Either way at the end of the day it is good not having to live in Cheney or Bismark.

Those shirts were brought by the local credit union that sponsors the EWU tailgate in the upper lot. The Shirts were for charity, all the money raised went to local kids with life threatening illnesses....not the best looking shirts but for a great cause that Eastern made NO money off of...

Sounds awesome. Please post a pic of the shirts so egriz can appreciate such a wonderful cause. I'm sure egriz will not go overboard ridiculing the mascot at all.
My first thought was that it looked like a dumber version of "private" from the Penguins of Madagascar

This might come as a shock to you, but most people don't continue to hang out in their college town for the rest of their life after graduation.

Yeah, because a good many UM graduates fall in love with Missoula while in college and do their damnedest to find a job here and stay.

This entire board was quiet prior to the EWU/Griz game. I just came here to witness the ensuing dumpster fire, and possibly give it some lighter fluid if it looked like it wasn't burning hot enough. You're welcome.
