Yes, I agree that Griz can forget the playoffs. (I think, but who the Hell knows the way the season has gone.) I'll do my "poll guesses" tomorrow, but I'm thinking right now that neither Montana team will drop out of the top-25. Hopefully, as I said on another thread, Portland State will move into the top-10. Can't figure EWU -- they looked terrible, and only survived because of the weather.statler & waldorf said:A telling subject. From '93 through '09 it became automatic. "The Griz don't rebuild, they reload." The fairy tale is over. Living primarily on reputation since then. Griz and cats drop OUT OF THE TOP 25 this week, or should. The folly of the last few years has taken a toll. The chickens have come home to roost. 4-7, 5-6, 6-5, or 7-4? Forget the playoffs.
It was amazing. Everytime the EAGS got the ball the wind and rain magically stopped. Then when Weber State had the ball the wind and rain were hurricane force. That was the only reason the EAGS won.
So the weather had no influence on the 3 missed Weber field goals?
Two of the three misses were with the wind. But given the immense size of Roos Field, I doubt wind had any affect on the field goals.
