Had to love those old suspension helmets. Went home with ridges in my forehead many a night. So Because of my large-ass head, I had one of the first air/water suspensions when they hit our high school in the early, 70's. (Dark days before the empire, Super Mario, etc.). You didn't lead with those things either because the coaches didn't teach you to lead with your head. We also had the advantage of not having SportsCenter highlights to worry about emulating. Take the face masks off, you'll solve most of the problems seen today.
