We all know about the Griz curse, in that whatever team the Griz play loses their next game, but does anyone have the official stats?
 
I looked into this last year and it really wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be so I didn't get to far into it.
 
Well, South Dakota won their second game against Colgate 31-21, so they avoided the curse. But it does seem like a lot of teams either struggle or lose their following game after playing the Griz.

Ah, gotcha. That would take some serious research. If I can find some spare time, I'll see what I can come up with.

Then, you'll also have to do the research for other teams to see if there really is a curse.
 
Here's what I've found for the last year of teams who have beaten the Griz:

2012
- App State W 35-27... Lose next game to The Citadel 52-28.

2011
- SHSU W 31-28... Lose next game to NDSU 17-6
- Sac State W 42-28... Lose next game to MSU 31-21
- Tennessee W 42-16... Win next game against Cincinnati 45-23

2010
- MSU W 21-16... Lose next game to NDSU 42-17
- Weber W 30-21... Lose next game to MSU 24-10
- EWU W 36-27... Lose next game to MSU 30-7
- Cal Poly W 35-33... Lose next game to Texas State 21-12.

Since 2010, the combined record for the teams who have beaten the Griz is (1-7). The only team to win their next game was FBS Tennessee.
