"The countries best Defense"

Richard Cranium said:
I'm sure Oregon will beat the Griz by at least 40 or 50. TT isn't even close to as good as Oregon. Oregon would have beat TT far worse than what TT beat the kittens. TT is a middle of the road FBS team while Oregon is an elite top 20 team consistently over the past 2 decades.

Bullshit.

I’m thinking Texas Tech must be the best team in the nation. There is no other explanation because I know the Bobcat defense is elite. I read last week about how TTU was going to be “impressed” by the athleticism of the Bobcat defense, and I bet they were. There were guys flying all over the place and ringing the bells of receivers not involved in the play.

Yes, bullshit. Texas Tech plays in a much tougher conference. Are you watching Oklahoma tonight.
The PAC12 has not done well this week. Texas Tech under their new coach is going to surprise a lot of teams this season. They are loaded.

I wonder what TT thought of the high round draft pick linebacker who got 4 tackles? And 2-2 passing for 7 yards. And 1 rush for 0 yards.

Sure fire top round pick? They might recruit him as grad transfer for next season?

Oh please. Now all of the FBS opponents of the Cats are pre-season national champs too.

Next thing we'll know is that Vernon Adams is staying at EWU.

What's going to surprise me is if anything you post about football turns out to be true.

Tell me player, how did the PAC12 fare this week?
Not good!! I did not say Texas Tech is going to be a national champ. Only, that they will surprise people in a very tough conference.

I’m just happy we aren’t playing Oregon next week. After their late loss to Auburn they are going to be pissed. Very easily could put 70 on us.

Not sure why we have multiple threads talking shit about the cats when we get to play Oregon in two weeks.

Montana fans should be more worried about Northern Alabama this week.

Nobody has anointed Tech as national champions. But the statement “Oregon would beat Texas Tech wore than Tech beat the Bobcats” is just plain retarded. Oregon would most likely beat Tech, but it would be in the 45-40 or 54-45 range. Tech’s problem has never been scoring points.

So Ioanes D holds TT to same amount of points as Avalos? All while playing on the road in 124 degree heat with 212% relative humidity? Impressive.

I agree Ducks would not likely breeze by TT with 35 points in their pocket but I do believe they are the better team by far. Maybe TT put on the breaks or Bozeman really does have one of the best defenses in the FCS. Dunno, didn't watch that game.

I did watch Oregon/Auburn and I know we're gonna get rolled. If it's only by 35 I'll be impressed or at the very least thankful they took a knee....in every second half possession.

Have no clue on PAC 12, other than Stanford beat a Big 10 school. I am an FCS guy these days.

I know nothing about TT, but I doubt what you say.

You are a huge fountain of misinformation. Probably a nice enough guy, tho.

Montana fans who follow Griz football are not worried about N Ala.

Bobby will have the Griz 100% focused on North Alabama! The last play to take place in Washington Grizzly was a fumble by a guy who feels worse than Steve Bartman after he caught a foul ball intended for Moises Alou. Much to Mr. Eastwood's chagrin, Bobby will remind the players of that. The fact that Northern Alabama beat WIU is irrelevant too. WIU is not the same team they were last year, and neither are we. This our season opener at home and the Griz are going to be fired up, so they can make that "Bartman" play that is etched in our long term memories forever-fade away (away, away, away). I would not be surprised if it was a total shellacking!
As for Oregon, we are lucky not to play them after their Auburn debacle. I feel sorry for Nebada (not really. I hated them when they were in the BSC), because they are gonna get reamed! Oregon is pissed off, it's their home opener, and they're gonna take all their anger out on the Wolfpack (a rare time where ducks rip apart wolves).
Now we may lose to the Ducks...probably...without a doubt...we're gonna get rolled as Ursus or some legendary poster says every week--but not as bad as one would think. Oregon is supposed to bury us, and may be coming out flat after their win over Nebada, as they will get all that pent up anger out. They are suppose to be beat us easily. I can see us keeping it close in the first half, but eventually being over matched in the second half by their depth and talent (we have talent too, but just not as much). I see us losing by 28 points or less because of that. If we compete well-or more importantly-come out injury free, it's a moral victory for us. It'll pay off when we play our BSC games. They will not put 70 points on us. Go Griz.

Actually, all things considered, the kittens did a fabulous job for a team who had to play their best QB at middle linebacker

just sayin'

This guy has us at 20. Not sure who he is but I think he forgot the Bobcats. Doubt they would drop all the way off the top 25.

Maybe he's just smart and hates the bobcats?

Okay this was masterful. Between BS33 claiming 100% that VA was coming back to EWU and now Poorgriz saying Baumans stats will be so high they’ll be tops in the Big Sky, we’re starting to see what many of us knew for a long time, that these idiots don’t know Jack shit and are always wrong here.

Aaaahhh BS33 (aka Jungle Cat) you’ll never live that one down over here!
