The Bubble today

I'm certain msdui's building (if it ever gets constructed. And then doesn't collapse like the others, of course) will be very useful the msdui soccer team.

Wait....
Their softball team will also be able to use it. I know that team doesn't exist, but it's won like three straight BSC championships. They have the banners. MSdUi: It's not a lie if you believe it.

There could also be many hoedowns and hootenannies hosted within those hallowed halls.

Don't forget their soccer team!

Alright... I will not just sit back and listen to some highfalutin California wine drinker and his Puget Sound whale watching cohort sully and defame a good hoedown or hootenanny.

The hoedowns are not the issue. The hootenannies can get out of hand, however.

I'll be surprised if the Cats are 5-1, and will be shocked if they're 4-2... I think the Big Sky will know who Jordan Reed is soon enough.

These two sentences in the same post deserve a bubby face palm

Somehow the neighbors were able to do it. I’m just saying I think it was a missed opportunity. I’m a huge track fan, I realize most others aren’t, but it’s a shame that UM doesn’t have an indoor track, and here there was an opportunity, and it was missed. Is it a huge deal? Of course not. Doesn’t mean it can’t be pointed out.
Somehow the neighbors made a practice field 20 yards shorter than UM did also.

They sure did. Which, if you follow any kind of college football, isn’t uncommon.

UM’s has more impact for UM football compared to MSU’s. MSU’s has more impact for their university as a whole compared to UM’s, imo. Myself, I prefer the latter. But like I said earlier, I love track and field more than most.

Whhaaaaaaatt??

Yes the bub's indoor T&F team will benefit from their, uhhh, odd configuration. At UM, the football team, the soccer team, the softball team and even the golf teams will get maximum benefit.

Let's be honest: T&F (particularly indoor T&F)is nearly an afterthought at UM. Now, if the bubs were a real DI program, they'd field softball and soccer teams, so we could absolutely kick their asses in two more sports. But they won't because, well, that whole ass kicking thing

Soccer and softball smack? Lol

Tell me you’re from Western Washington without telling me you’re from Western Washington.

I GUARANTEE I could find a rodeo thread on the first 3 pages of litterbox nation. Rodeo. Which, like, 3 division III teams do as a club sport.

And you call it smack only because your POS cow college won't participate because they know they'd get OWNED by Montana.

I'm quite certain there isn't another division one school in the nation that doesn't participate in those two sports. Enjoy those 80 yards though I guess?

Hey now, bubs had a national champion goat roper this year.

National. Champion. Goat. Roper.

Can’t make that up if I wanted to; my neighbor was thrilled to brag about it.

But is it typical?

Hey now, goat roper is an important skill and one that will surely translate to the Bozo job market after school. Even though technologies have advanced with ATVs, etc. there will always be a need for goat ropers as the Bobcat Batter craze and subsequent Van Wilder milking of the local cats really dried out the population and they had to turn to goats as an alternative source...

I somehow missed that one on TV. I must’ve been watching the South Central Eastern Oklahoma State team win the bronco bustin’ title. Northeast West Missouri A&M had it right in their reigns, but SCEOS came out ahead on a controversial decision by the judges Rod “Rowdy” Peterson and Dan “Dandy” McGill. I’m still bitter about it.

I'll be honest; there are times I feel sorry for bub fans. They want to be taken seriously so damn bad, but then they rave about their success on the... what are rodeos held on... grounds? Anyway, it has to be humiliating when the most important participant in one of your DI sports is the horse shit pickerupper

Montana State has Women's Rodeo and Women's Skiing. UM has Women's Soccer and Softball.

Do I wish that MSU had both those as well? Sure. I also wish that Hockey and Lacrosse were not considered "Club Sports" but they are. As for the IPF at both schools? I think it is going to be a tremendous advantage for both universities in whatever sports can use them. I don't really see any negatives to either. When both schools move up to FBS in Football, it will be interesting to see if they can bring those sports into to the "fold" if you will. Currently MSU also has 7 Mens D1 programs, to UM 5, so UM actually has the ability to add 2 more Men's sports as well (I believe, I admittedly know very little to nothing about the Title 9 laws, or guidelines). The more opportunities for any college student to compete in Athletics (even if it requires a Pooper Scooper) the better in my mind.

In true bubcatz spirit, I believe the goat roping national championship actually ended in a tie but of course the bubz still count it.
It may seem like an amazing coincidence because only one other school in the world happens to offer goat roping and somehow they both managed to fall off their respective goats in the final at exactly the same time, but the bubfanz think it is an amazing accomplishment.

Rowdy Roddy Peterson is an ICON.
