I get that people are unhappy with the facilities and wanting to knock the AD for it, but for those bitching about it, why don’t you put your money where your mouth is? Or if you can’t afford to help, reach out to somebody who may be able to.

You can always email Haslam as well. If there’s one thing you can say about him it’s that he’s great at responding to emails. Perhaps he’d be willing to shed some light on all the issues mentioned here.

One of the more embarrassing ones is ESPN putting their announcers for the SDSU game this past season under a tent on the roof because of how inadequate the stadium press box is. They even showed it on national TV!!!! (Don't even get me started on the narrow west side concourses and the fact there's only 4 bathrooms for each gender on the main level, only 1 each on the east side)

The other stuff is just pathetic. How do we not have a track locker room?? How is the ADA bathroom at the soccer field a porta potty??

For god's sake we're closer to NoCo or Portland State for non-rev facilities than we are MSU at this point. And NoCo even has lights for soccer!!!

We'd have the worst facilities in the Mountain West if we were invited today (football and basketball withstanding, and honestly basketball would be like the third worst), and other posters on this board still trash the bottom of this conference, when we're barely ahead of them at this point

Softball has no bathrooms, soccer/track/softball have no locker rooms

4. Football stadium concrete has visible cracks.
5. Soccer field doesn’t have lights, it’s ADA compliant bathroom is a porta john, it’s pressbox uses a chain fence instead of a wall.
6. Track n field don’t even have a locker room.

With this new President hopefully he’s not scared to hire folks that have a fire in them to make a change. Current athletic leadership is at this point an albatross around the neck of every Griz fan, they’re holding back the players and fans from achieving more!

The Griz have the opportunity to become the face of the FCS like how Georgia Southern was in the 80’s, NDSU has been from 2011-24. People like backing a winning horse.

Hopefully Dr. Shin was embarrassed at the Olympic sport facilities

There are two types of concrete in Montana. Cracked concrete and concrete that is going to crack. Non-displaced cracked concrete rarely needs to be replaced.

If AD Dept really cared student athletes they would of already have bathrooms at the softball field, soccer would have had a proper locker room to change in and watch film, not to mention share bathrooms with fans, track and softball would have a locker room. The track is in poor shape and needs resurfacing.

According to the University of Montana's financial reports, the program ranked third in overall expenses and revenue generation within the athletic department [2.31]: [1]

The Lady Griz deficit was the second-largest within the athletic department, trailing only the men's basketball program

What lawsuits? Give us a summary.

"Equal" treatment is defined under the law, regulation and case law. It doesn't say "equal". The doesn't mean the same or exactly the same.

Here is the wording of Title IX: "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

I don't know what UM has for those facilities that were mentioned, nor do I know the law and practice.
