THE BIG GIVE

The university has a fund raising event called THE BIG GIVE. It goes from noon yesterday to noon today, 24th to 25th. The goal is to raise $100,000 in that 24 hour period. You can direct your donation to a specific department, for example English department or Journalism or athletic department. As of 9:00 am this morning over $200,000 has been raised. Almost half of that amount, $90,000 has been donated to the athletic department.
Congratulations Griz fans for your support. To those of you who still want to give you can go to University of Montana the Big Give and make your contribution.

If you go over to the football board you can find the final tally for the 24 hour fund raising effort. The U was looking to raise $100,000 in 24 hours. The final numbers were something like $300,000 with almost $100,000 to athletics alone. Great job done by Griz nation. Hats off to all who participated.
