UND is the other designated big sky rival for the cats. They play every year. Might as well call it something, although neither school is anywhere near the Bakken.

If oil prices don't see an upward trend soon, there might not be much of a Bakken.

Not true, it would be more of a the giant is taking a nap scenario....unless you know of a magical force that will soon remove all the oil from the ground....without it, I'm fairly confident it will be in the ground for awhile..haha

Well yeah the name and oil will still be there. But the people won't. A fifth of the rigs they used to have. Massive layoffs. Not a good time right now.

Point I was making is that it will continue to be and will come back as a strong economic engine in that region. Low oil prices or not, jobs are still better in that region then they are across the country.
