Guys who dont get this probably are not fit to be fathers. BTW, when a judge order's an alleged victim's name sealed, you WILL have ramifications if you violate that order. But again, see the "What can we do FOR Jordan thread - do something positive.

Somewhere through the middle of all of this I had a moment of clarity and thought to myself - bullshit! I've been with chicks before who changed their minds and said no and meant it. We've all had those encounters, and we all know a chick who shut us down when we were ready and when they said no, we clearly understood they meant it. Human nature is what it is and we all know that time when they are serious and when they are uncertain. This is a case of someone hiding another agenda behind some latter day, cockamamie notion of consent that "maybe" means "no" after the fact type of bullshit. Look what the DOJ and the NCAA were able to foist upon the taxpayers of Missoula County. It's time for the pendulum to swing the other way and usher in harsher penalties for false sexual assault charges. It has gone too far.

while I think there is something very seriously wrong with the accuser, I think that the real crime here is the people that pushed her into this. She was meat for the detective, the nurse and the DA's office...used to take a shot at bringing down the man (griz football, and actual men).

I hope there will be jobs lost and lives ruined....but it's missoula, the support system for lunatics will always be here.

Missoula, the least judgmental place on earth.....if you're a minority or social reclamation.

Precisely. I have been an unwavering advocate of the acquittal throughout, but cannot bear the thought that someone would add to her misery by exposing her name. Anyone who did that should be banned for life and hopefully would face some kind of legal ramifications. Concentrate instead on welcoming JJ back to his life and, hopefully, back to the Grizzlies.

I know it doesnt really matter, but it took me less than 35 seconds to find out what her name was on google..i heard it was siad a lot in court today or something but its very easy to find out a name if you know a few of the basic things they told us about her on twitter during the trial.

That's not the society we live in. We live in a pro-female society where apparently a woman can say the next day she didn't want to have sex and that's a crime. And here's the sick thing about this whole situation, I'm sure there's plenty of guys and gals on this forum that have had sex with someone and the next day they regret it but they don't have the sick sense of accusing the other of rape... this girl is sick and needs a lot of help...in the mean time, it seems almost wrong to NOT release her name for this given reason

well it might not get released but you can find it out really easy if u want to know...i seriously just found it in less than a minute...based on knowing her HS and a certian family members occupation....just sayin, those were all items that were told in court.

So if your daughter got assaulted in college (actually assaulted) you would not favor the rule protecting her identity if she filed charges? Look, it was clear from the outset that this was a pathetic legal case. I have a son and daughter and can see both sides. Both are learning from this situation. As I posted elsewhere, IF, at the APROPRIATE TIME a legal defense fund is established to assist JJ and his family, I will give generously. Also, I will go on record that any of you misogynistic sons a bitches think attacking J'Doe now is appropriate, I would seriously enjoy kicking your ass.

I think once the case has been resolved and the defendant is found not guilty - her name should be public record. Yes - if my daughter (and yes I do have one) was in fact assaulted as you say, then of course I want her identity protected. I want this protection for every victim in the country- not just my daughter. The difference in this case is the resolution/verdict. Additionally, this girl chose to go forward with her charge that she was raped. She could have said at any time - I do not want to do this. Actually she could have said that anytime during the night she was supposedly raped by JJ also. I see a pattern emerging here. Poor judgement. Her identity should be public information. She lost and JJ went through hell. She also needs to take responsibility and know there are consequences for your actions in life.

FYI, I'm not wanting to attack "J'Doe" or anything like that. But, if you can falsely accuse someone of something, and have no repercussions? That's just messed up. I do see both sides also. I understand the purpose, but then don't understand. Who's protecting the accused when their name is plastered all out in public? They are equally in danger as the accuser. The truth should be enough to speak for itself. And please, don't take this as me calling out your griz fandom, support, or anything like that. I'm just disagreeing with what you are saying. And, my previous response to you was some humor as well. In the end, I'd have no problem having a beer with you and talking about this. Hope that helps, even though we both disagree with each other. :geek:
