To be clear, I'm not asking "egriz" to release her name, just questioning why she (or any accuser) for that matter gets to stay anonymous. It would make my day if Florio was forced to name the "accuser" in a missoulian article.

Because releasing her name may keep a future rape victim from reporting.

And then there's the OTHER side of the story that maybe releasing her name would keep another crazy woman from accusing someone of rape, ruining their family, and tarnishing his reputation forever...

Anyone who did that should be banned for life and hopefully would face some kind of legal ramifications. The term "justice" comes to mind. In Dante's Inferno, every circle of hell punishes those who belong based on the crimes they commited. It seems quite fitting to me personally that a girl whose crime was ruining the reputation of a man and his life, should probably have hers ruined as well. However, as I stated before, I know who she is and am a male. I hope she gets what she deserves
