The “I’m a lumber jack, and it’s ok” Gameday Thread

Cam limping around does not give me a warm and fuzzy.. Montana struggles with the O-Line and no misdirection at all. Will be tough next Saturday

I’d like to preface this by saying I have no idea the extent of the injury that Cam is dealings with... but am I the only one that thinks he’s a bit soft? I’d like him to either get off the field or get in the game and have better body language. I would like to follow this up by saying that he is certainly our best qb this year... but it makes me realize that Sneed had more grit than most.

Dude is playing through a lot of pain on every play.

He's not soft.

WTF is wrong with some of our fans?

Some people are really bad at getting hit. It seems like Cam falls into that category. Every time he goes down he seems to get rolled on and twisted.

I hear what you're saying, but I thought he was done for the year after the Eastern game so I like the fact that he's out there battling. He's gotta be in pain. I hope he has a light week of practice and heals up a bit.

He's not getting twisted up that bad, that's just how bad the injury is. It's a wonder he's even playing right now, which is a credit to his toughness, but I'm worried he won't be able to be 100% for the cat game (just like Sneed wasn't the last time, either).

I feel this was the best managed game by our coaching staff for the Griz this year other than UW.

To an extent. I never felt like the game was in danger of getting away from the Griz, but there are a LOT of points that were left out there by the O. Drops, bad reads, and downright misses took at least 14 off the board. The OC should just abandon running up the center’s ass crack with undersized backs and a lagging O-line. As much as I’d like to see them imposing their will against an opponents D-line, it’s just not something that this group has in their bag of tricks. I also really don’t know why this is the case…

The definition of insanity is to repeat the same failed effort . over and over expecting a different result.. Why in hell do we have a staff that are Nuts, or simply bull headed enough to keep running our scat backs into a brick wall. Please help me understand before i pull what ever little hair i have left out.

You don’t have a clue. He has an injury that is painful. Each week past 4 weeks from time of injury gets better but even the toughest guy in the world would still feel it at this point. Very few would have been able to come back at 4 weeks like he did.
