Thayne Jackson, 3 star OT commits to the Griz

Seriously, that's a very athletic looking 265 pounder. If Jackson stays that trim and hits 285, he'll be a beast. Glad you're a Griz, Thayne.

2. 3 star and a 2 star verballing to Oline.....if they stick, stay healthy and maybe get another couple very solid players you will see a team that can dominate the line of scrimmage for multiple years.

Now get some running backs that can run behind them and burst through the holes!

Nice! I liked the play in his highlight reel where the opposing player jumps up (trying to jump over???) Jackson and just splats and slides off. Nice to see a big O lineman headed our way!

You can have all the studs you want and a stud QB but if you cant win at the LOS you will never win a NC!

from his twitter ID:

Gilbert high football 2016 OT 6'6 265 #67 University of Montana commit Go Griz DOLA

Impressive. There's, what seemed liked, an endless number of plays on his "reel" and he knocked 90% of the guys he was blocking on thier ass.

Yep....now if a couple D linemen studs on the want list sign it could be a very bright future

Great pick up.

Although it's time to move on from DOLA. That left with Hauck. Hard to be "DOLA" when you never put a hand in the dirt.

We are building a great recruiting class on paper so far, but lets not forget how many 3 star guys we lost right before signing day last year. Still can't believe Cody Baker went to New Mexico.

On that note, from his comments and family connection it sounds like Thayne Jackson is a lock. What a great get!
