Thanksgiving Void

I feel a a bit of a void this Thanksgiving. In many years of the past we Griz fans have prepared for our feast and held discussions of a pending foe we faced on the gridiron. This year we Griz lack that discussion and find ourselves with negative conversations of lack of coaching, continuity and team focus. Myself I feel a void not having those past Thanksgiving football conversations and hope that next year we are talking about our next foe.

My Thanksgiving conversation this year will be about the pheasant hunting we will be doing on the remainder of Saturdays in 2016.

Maybe, but this really isn't a first for the Griz anymore. 2010 and 2012 there were no playoffs either. Not saying I like it, I hate it, and had the Griz made it, I would have been there Saturday. But people are acting like the long playoff streak just got snapped when the actual fact is, the Griz have missed the playoffs in three of the last six seasons. And while I may be one of the few that feel this way, two of those misses were during a pretty harsh NCAA probation, and given what happens to the best of programs during NCAA sanctions, I can't say I'm all that surprised.

The first half of that SDSU playoff game last year sure looked promising though.....

I thought this thread was about the turkey, I was going to suggest putting a 24 ouncer in there.
