AG1- as the last one out of the stadium last weekend...did you remember to turn out the lights?

Of course, all the Griz fans I was with got the largest game of musical chairs going that I have ever been a part of............but soon realized we would be there all night.

Had Pizza delivered to the stadium and refused to tip the guy unless he ran through the cats head in the north east endzone when he delivered it.

FYI - we paid extra to have the Brawl final score spelled out in pepperoni on one pizza and Go Griz on the other.

I'm in. I can get 3 dudes or 4 chicks in my truck. Look for a beat up ford truck being driven by a guy with a nice stache.

Is one of them named Dalton? BTW,I though he would have been bigger than that.

Threads like these are so much better to read when you have two guys like us breaking it down, keeping it real and keeping it on topic.

I know I dont need to tell you this Dildo...but nice job setting the board straight they needed this. :thumb:

Great points BD, does any "rivalry" in college football have one of the teams over 75 wins like we do against MSU?

"Colorado currently leads the football series against Colorado State 59-20-2". Proportionately, that's more dominant than the Griz' advantage over the cats.

In any case, Cat-Griz will always be considered a rivalry in most minds because of the intense emotional attachment to it. The Bobcats are a very good team and if we are lucky enough to see a rematch this year, I expect it will be a tougher game than before, even in Wa-Griz. (I also hope the Griz prove me wrong.)

I can't remember who coined it, but there's a saying that goes: "You're never as good as you think you are when you win, and you're never as bad as you think you are when you lose." I'm hoping the Griz stay grounded and hungry so they can keep blowing out opponents through December.

after this past year, what strikes me funny is the fact that we can now all laugh about the kitties without a single CAT poster sticking his claws into the thread, amazing how they have disappeared, even 2506

GrizMusician - or, assuming both games start at 12:05, if we both lost but our game ended at 4:00 and theirs ended at 4:10 - they went farther in the playoffs.
It's like Obama/Pelosi math

I made this point with many a cat fans this year before the ass stompin, I said to them. Any other rivalry in college football would not even be considered a RIVALRY if it was 70-36. If you wanna run with the BIG DOGS ya gotta stop pissin like the kittypups! They are a honest to goodness joke!

Just needed to update some info in this thread for AG1. I no longer have the the ford truck. I swerved off the road to avoid a cow a few days ago and wrapped the damn thing around a tree. Picking up a mid-70s dodge power wagon tomorrow that will hold roughly the same number of chicks. Plan on leaving for Frisco in early January. Be there.

I like your positive thoughts about January. You and AG1 stroked each other so hard earlier in the thread that I thought I was reading Broke Back Mountain. Regardless - Go Griz and FTC!

This is what I love about Griz Football. Talking about a Dodge Power Wagon like it's nothing. It's a part of life even in 2013.
Redneck football at its best. My best friend had turquoise Power Wagon in the mid 70's with four wheel drive and a full lift kit. It was "bad ass" in it's day circa 1975. Of course Gerald Ford was President and A Big Mac was less than a buck. LOL.

Copper. I'll be driving through your neck of the woods on my way to Texas. Chip in a little for gas and you've got yourself a ride.

CV. You'd love the power wagon I'm picking up. Been sitting in a guys shed for about 14 years. Has the original 360 4-speed. Needs a new fuel tank (which I've already got coming) and thats about it. Same offer I extended to Copper is extended to you. Put in a little for gas and we're heading for Frisco in style (assuming the Griz make it, but I'm not too worried).

edited to add that its a forest green '74. Few minor scrapes but in overall sweet condition. I doubt we'll have much trouble hauling in the chicks on our way down to Tx.

As long as you got some "glass packs" on it and we're listening to ZZ Top's " Tres Hombres" I'm in. Do they make "Lucky" beer any more?
