MBBALL Thank you!

What an unbelievable season for the Griz! This was the most fun basketball season in a long time. Congratulations to all the staff, coaches, and players that made it happen. Proud of this team. Proud to be a Griz. Up with Montana! 🐻
Amen '99, going to miss Kai Johnson, Austin Patterson, Te'Jon our gutsy post that was a crack shot @ both the 3 point and FT lines, and our great floor general Branden Whitney, a future inductee into The GRIZ HOF !!!

For next year, I think we're maybe two or three pieces away from winning a game or two @ The Dance, and here's to hoping one or two of those pieces stand North of 6-10 !!!

Go GRIZ !!!

Well said! This year really makes one think about what's next. I'm convinced Travis has plans for taking us to the next level. The man bleeds maroon and his players leave it on the floor for him. A big part of this puzzle is getting Haslam to return the student section to their rightful place in the footprint of the old zoo. Proud to be a Griz! Up with Montana!

Very good basketball team.

First order of business upon arriving back in MT is re-signing Decuire. I’m sure they’ve already worked on a contract and may have held off on signing until after the season, but I’m interested to see how big of a raise and incentives he gets. Then from there let’s see if Kai and Sawyer get waivers and/or want to come back and then dive head first into the portal. There’s a lot of good up and comers in the program that I don’t think we’ll have to hit the portal too hard but if Sawyer doesn’t come back then we’ll have to get a big man. I like the Georgetown kid from Boise that GF24 listed on the portal tracker. He’d be great. Other than that I don’t see us losing too many contributors to the portal. The only one I’m kind of worried about is Money.

Excited to see if the March Madness run increases recruits interest in coming here! Go Griz!

This was a special team and season for the Griz! One that will go down in the record-books for many reasons. I wish all these guys could come back and play another year. Dahlberg/DeCuire Arena should've been packed this year. Let's hope the Griz faithful come out next year to support this team. When Dahlberg/DeCuire Arena is packed, it's the best place to play and the most intimidating place to play.

They are only a couple of top recruits away from the next level or two. Very well coached.

I think one thing that made this hoops season so fun was that we really didn't know what to expect. The men were picked to win the conference but after a few heartbreaking ends to prior seasons + the entire roster overhaul with transfers it just didn't seem like we knew what we had. Add in the mid-season roster change of rotating Williams and Johnson and the success that had. And Trav's 2nd COY award.

2024/25 felt like a year where DeCuire and his staff found their swagger again. It made it a real fun year.

Maybe if we'd had a few more in-season GFPs, James could have told us all what to expect....

I kid, I kid (but not about the James part).
