TG trying to poach our recruits

Former UNLV AD Livengood didn't agree with your conclusion of no strip-club incident, he said as much 5 1/2 years ago, and that's why Ty was shown the door by him at UNLV and also had a lot to do with Tech passing on hiring him as its HC 5 plus years ago in late 2010.

And the only source for Ty being offered the DC job at Hawaii is you.

While I am glad you like and/or love Ty, he isn't Jesus Christ by his own admission, has made a lot of mistakes off the field in the past, and that's why he's in Bozeman and not Boulder, Seattle, Boise, etc.

In the past, Ty lacked ethics, maturity, and judgment. Hopefully and apparently, that's no longer the case !!!

Again, I wish him well, but I also don't see him through rose-colored glasses !!!

UNLV "fired" him before the police/prosecutor completed their investigation, i.e. too soon. The tape showed he had not been at the club or its front door. The president of UNLV required him to be fired, according to a Las Vegas sports reporter. Livengood apparently gave TG a recommendation for the Tech job. UM and Pflu hired TG less than a year later. Lots of people know he was offered the Hawaii job. Call your friends at the UM athletic dept and ask them. Don't agree with most of the rest of your stuff too. You just make up stuff. You are like the posters 75 is going after. You have your agenda and belief, and you are sticking to it regardless of the facts and reality.

Im surprised TG didnt file a wrongful termination suit based on the info in the tape. I would think it would have gone a long way in removing the stigma associated with his name.

Repeating false information over and over does not make it true--did you notice that when the charges were dropped, then-UNLV AD Livengood "apparently" did not offer Ty his job back ? I wonder why ?

You're the one that makes up stories--you have no credible source(s) that Hawaii offered the DC job to Ty. Sorry, rumor, innuendo, and wishful thinking doesn't cut it !!!

I applaud Pflu and Mick for giving Ty a second chance after his short tenure and termination in Las Vegas--that speaks highly of them, and to his credit, Ty was an outstanding position coach and DC his second time around in Missoula as well as his first.

You have your agenda and beliefs, and are in denial when it comes to Ty's past problems off the field, You can't admit that Ty had them, but he did.

How much do you want to bet on the Hawaii job? He had a DUI and had the Boulder incident and the related bad press, even though the charges were dropped very quickly. What other off field problems are you there?

well played....

For F*@k Sake.... This entire thing is a non-issue. Ty moved on. Good luck to him. If he took a kid or two, they weren't committed to UM, they were committed to the coach. I don't think his chances of coming back to UM to coach are great, but none of us will be involved in that decision anyway.

We have our coaches in place. Pretty sure none of our lives have changed as a result of this. Let's move on.

You can't just move on, on egriz. The best chance is to get it locked. And you know this, GP. Here, let me try:

If the people who believe Newton, Connecticut was a set up are a "10",

than the people who believe Traitorak was set up have to be at least a "6", right?

Maybe knew he had too many skeletons in his closest he was afraid would be revealed?

Or maybe got bad legal advice from a Missoula attorney who now feels so guilty he defends him like his own son :)

It this point he can poach away... The names that are showing up lately are a much better athletic group..

Note: Not intended as smack... just an honest opinion.

Do you have a copy of the offer and contract for both schools?

Who cares? If, say the Cats' OC came here, and tried to get Cat verbals, Griz fans would be cheering him. That's how things go.

Although that would be a step up for that coach, don't see a lateral move of that kind happening. And just a hunch, the number of Griz recruits/commits the Cats would try to get is waaaaaay higher than the number of Cat recruits the Griz would want.

You are either missing teh point, or being a blatant homer.
