Texas Tech transfer

A couple of weeks ago there was a player from Texas Tech on campus checking things out....with Van Vliet's schollie being pullled that leaves one open. Does anyone have any additional info cuz that is all I know, but I'd like to know who it was etc.
 
There has been no official word on Van Vliet. I believe the TT forward (Dazzmon Thornton?) visited the cats. I don't know if he visited the GRIZ.
 
He was on Knight School. He was one of the guys who played against the would-be walk ons. Also, wasn't he recruited by you guys before he chose Texas Tech?

yup- he was. according to one or 2 of the recruiting websites.
