Texas AG warns Big 12 of possible legal actions as conference decides how to handle Brendan Sorsby situation

Actions have consequences. Look, I'm all for supporting anyone with an addiction. Much like an alcoholic who got fired from his job because he couldn't show up for work does not automatically get rehired when he becomes sober, this kid cannot be allowed to play. If TT wants to honor his scholarship and pay for him to complete his degree, I'm all for it and would laud them. But this? Nah.

What gets me is their argument is he has an addiction. When alcoholics admit their addiction, they quit associating in situations that encourage drinking. Looks to me like TT is doing him a major disservice encouraging him to continue drinking, er i mean playing football.
