Texas A&M and Mizzou to the SEC?

I've seen a couple articles today saying that Big 12 may be on the verge of implosion again. This would create a whole new set of conference membership realignment.

The Big 12 is starting to seem like the WAC, anyone who CAN leave DOES.

I guess the question is what the ripple effects of this move would be. Would the Big 12 (8) raid the MWC or Conference USA? Then the conferences that the Big12 raids would turn around and look for more members from perhaps a moribund WAC or perhaps (gasp) an FCS conference. If this goes through more dominoes could fall.

This article is old. Yes, July 30th, but the Big 12 ruled yesterday that at least for this year, Longhorn Network can't televise high school games.

MrTitleist, I think the article addresses that saying that no matter what the Big 12 says ESPN and the LHN can do what they like. Point is that what the Big 12 rules on that issue doesn't matter, the broadcasters can just laugh it off.

One other thing to consider, if the Longhorns do decide to go independent, where do their non-football sports land? Not many ideal opportunities out there for 'em.

What does this have to do with the Griz or FCS?

I just skimmed through it, but didn't mention any FCS schools. No need to flip me off, kiddo.

Could be wrong but everything about an SEC taking Big 12 hinges on Oklahoma. Second most money school in the conference.

I sure it wont affect NCU but it does have the potential to affect several team in the Big Sky and some of those soon to be in the Big Sky, so Yeah, it does deserve the finger.
