Nice evasion, counselor. How would you measure a team’s success that finished 3rd, 4th and 6th in consecutive seasons.

By playoff wins and post season poll rankings. Same way any knowledgeable football would.

So you would consider Best, Viden, Hill, Taylor and Eck if Idaho finishes above the Griz in the final poll by your standards.

Only Vigen would measure up as the others don't have much for playoff wins in recent years. The measurement includes all 3 criteria, not just one or two. Don't you agree?

Lots of talk on here regarding so called "trends". I'm not going to name names, but I think this might be what you guys are looking for. Let me know if this hits the mark:

Conference wins since 2018:
5,6,7,8

Overall wins:
8,11,12,12

Conference finishes:
4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st

Hoops will somehow turn this into a Bobby love fest and explain how the Griz are still looking better. Well Bobby said……

Nope, I know the Cats are doing great. I like the Cats. Just don't like certain Cat fans. I went to Bozeman high. Was recruited by Cats. My family lives there and owns much of the town.

Hill has more wins including head-to-head against Bobby in the playoffs (you would agree that head-to-head matters?) Tayor had more success in his first two years, including winning in the playoffs. Bobby didn't do that. We don't even need to go down the Vigen road. Eck as been there a year and went to the playoffs. Bobby was 6-5 his first year back, including an embarrassing lose to Portland State at home.

I am looking at the last 3 years since Bobby returned. Head to head is a minor factor. Overall playoff wins and advancement is more important. Did Hill win a playoff game this year? SS got 1 win in 3 years.

Are you one of those posters who discounts Griz wins because they don't win all colors of jerseys?

Actually, Hill did win a playoff game this year. In 2019, one of the last full three football seasons, Hill beat Bobby Bobby head-to-head in the playoffs. Taylor was only at Sac for 2 years. Posted a 23-1 Big Sky record and his .958 Big Sky winning percentage is the best in conference history. He also won a playoff game.

Hill won 1 playoff game. Pathetic. Underachieved.

So you're saying Bobby is pathetic and underachieved. Why don't you support the program?

Head-to-head is not a minor factor. It's where the rubber hits the road.

Not if one team flames out in playoffs. Like AS and Weber this year. UN beat MSU last year. Cats has waY better season. Minor.

The Griz won 2. Why are you such a dick?

The Griz won 2? Are you smoking weed this moring?

Yes, the Griz won 2 playoff games while Hill was winning 1 in the last 2 years. Griz won 3 in past 3 years, when SS won 1.

I have been discussing Bobby's last 3 seasons all along. Try to keep up.

Try GOOGLE.

Is there any confirmation of the supposed coaching moves mentioned at the beginning of this way-off-the-track thread??

Good try. Hill has owned Coach Hauck since his return in 2018, including more playoff wins and beating him head-to-head in the playoffs. Its impossible to compare Hauck to Viden, Taylor, or Eck because they all went to the playoffs their first year and Bobby was going 6-5 in 2018. Remember that embarrassing lose to Portland State? Kind of like the embarrassing lose to Idaho this year. The one area I would say Hauck is comparable to Viden is that neither one can win a game on the road against a quality opponent.
