TELEVISION FOR ISU GAME

Picked up a Roku a couple of years ago for watchESPN app for FCS playoffs. Worked great for that. Opened it up last night. Searched Pluto TV. Downloaded app. Went to channel 230 and watched part of Southern Utah and Weber St replay. Looked good. Sound was the local yocals. Roku cost me 40 bucks and Sams 2 years ago.

Might want to get yourself used to streaming feeds. Many people are cutting the cord. It is the reason ESPN jettisoned many of their higher priced personalities the last couple years. Netflix, hulu, amazon and other streaming services have better original programming at a lower cost than Networks. Cable and Satellite companies are losing subscribers. Most things are going to be ala carte in the future.

Does anyone know which channel on Pluto will show the game? There is a Big Sky Conference channel 230 I believe but will it be showing the Griz game or another Big Sky game? Thanks

On gamedays, Pluto TV adds additional channels. Typically the host team gets its own channel, so look for the "ISU" channel on Saturday.

The Pluto App on fire stick works great! I just d/led it for my fire stick. I suggest upgrading ur fire stick to the 17.4 build first, the latest one, only takes about 18 min., then getting the Pluto App.

I just added Pluto to my home PC, and chromecast to large screen tv, free and works GREAT !

I still carry a flip phone. Phone viewing is not an option for me. I am old fashion...
So, now stop by Wallyworld pick up a chrome cast for 35 bucks (read the directions) one plug into your flat screen the other in the 110 receptacle in the wall.....
make sure you are on a google browser and you can throw up anything on your in-home network that you are viewing through Chrome on any device, ie... tablet, laptop, desktop or even all that porn on the wife's cellphone right up to the big screen

Does this work for Internet porn?

Asking for a friend.

You can buy a Roku Express for 25.00 at Walmart right now. Its got the 8.0 upgrade on it. Worked perfectly for the PSU game............. For cord cutters the Pluto deal has been wonderful oh and for 1.50 month you can use Play on to DVR anything you stream. Pluto costs you nothing no add on services etc etc just a one time cost for the Roku. (which BTW lets you access something close to 2000 free channels) You can always listen to the radio if you don't like the commentators of the day

Just an FYI, DISH doesn't carry Eleven sports. For all us DISH people out there.

Boo. At least I will have a poopy Pluto feed. Anyone try and cast this to your TV for the PSU game?

I use ROKU for the Pluto feed. worked great. Except the production was done by a camcorder. It would be nice if the feed was the SWX broadcast. Maybe it will be at ISU.

I watched the game on Big Sky TV and it was great. For some reason (too lazy to figure out right now), my Pluto App only shows older games, so I went to the source.

Bought the chromecast. Plugged it into the tv and wall. It came up with chromecastsetup page. nothing happens. I have Pluto downloaded on my pc, only 12 feet from tv. I have a wireless router. I had the wife use her smart phone, her Ipad etc...I get nothing on the tv. HELP!

After seeing an article in a newspaper about how to find the game on TV it shows how stupid it is that local channels don't get to broadcast it. For many retired Montanans (yes alumni) money and computer knowledge are hard to come by....
