TELEVISION BY ESPN FOR SDSU GAME!

Griz fans have a few choices.

1) Go to the game and stop worrying about whether it's on TV or not.
2) If you can't go to the game, watch on TV if you have DirecTV
3) If you can't get it on TV, go to a sports bar
4) If you can't get to a sports bar, watch it on ESPN3
5) If you for whatever reason can't get ESPN3, listen to the radio.
6) If none of those options work for you, then you're SOL.

Pretty much sums it up getem! :D

Imagine how awesome all those empty seats will look in high definition!

If you live in Missoula, go to the game and support this team. The weather forecast after Tuesday is for eight solid days of sunshine. No reason for our out of town friends not to be here, either! I know it's Thanksgiving, but you know you need a reason to get away from Aunt Fran and her corn casserole side dish! This is a perfect excuse! Be here!

So I'm on call so going to the game is not an option. I have dish network, however I just got amazon fire a month or two ago.. what is the best route for me to use the amazon fire tv to get the game? I have never used it for sports.

ok/damn...espn3 or capones...........some are predicting that it will be on directv........i was basing this on the montana/montana state game on root this past saturday.
wondering what channel on directv is being touted?

Since all the playoff games are shown only as being on ESPN3, TV coverage will spotty, at best. Based on what ESPN has posted, my guess is the only place we will get the games for TV will be on the 700-channels on DirecTV. (Or the equivalents on Dish.) They hardly ever post those programs until Thursday. So ... we wait.

Excellent! For us, anyway. "College Extra" games show up on the high 700 DirecTV channels (around 788), with the identifier "ECEHD." Have no idea how other avenues (cable? Dish?) present them. So we will be able -- as of right now -- to see five of the eight first-round matchups, including the Griz game. Perhaps they'll add the other three later.

Hmmm ... just noticed that they have all the games going off at the same time (2 pm Eastern). I doubt that those times are "real," since some games don't start until 3 pm Eastern. They generally do have enough ECEHD channels to do all five at once, but it will be interesting to see what the actual schedule looks like.

No college extra on DISH at all. they have a contract with AT&T Verizon, Direct TV, A few cable providers.
they updated the schedule again about 30 minutes ago. They removed the SDSU VS MT game

Should also be on Watch ESPN...works good on the tablet.
Yep, and you can pick up a Chromecast for 30 bucks and watch it on the big screen.

Also Roku

Amazon's Fire Stick with remote at $50 using the Watch ESPN app is a terrific option for getting the game on your big home screen... plus tons of free movies with Prime membership.

Download the WatchESPN app to your Fire TV

Launch app and login with your Dish credentials.

This is what is listed presently (11/24 at noon) on the ESPN College Extra schedule. I am hoping that the double entries (why would they re-air a game at 2:00 that just started an hour ago; ditto with Colgate vs. NH?) are mistakes and the Griz game might still be aired. Anybody here that uses ESPN College Extra regularly have a feel for this? Are the schedules usually screwed up until closer to the actual airing date?

11/28 1:00 PM Football Fordham vs. Chattanooga (First Round)
11/28 2:00 PM Football Fordham vs. Chattanooga (First Round) (re-air)
11/28 2:00 PM Football Colgate vs. New Hampshire (First Round)
11/28 2:00 PM Football The Citadel vs. Coastal Carolina (First Round)
11/28 3:30 PM Football Colgate vs. New Hampshire (First Round)
11/28 3:30 PM Football Duquesne vs. William & Mary (First Round)
