TE Greg Hardy's commnets on Griz QB's: (found on MontanaGrizzlies.com)
Hardy had positive things to say about the three quarterbacks currently in good standing.
“I think Shay looks pretty good,” said Hardy. “He’s just so smart. He reminds me of (former starting QB Andrew) Selle – maybe not the arm strength but he’s very good at getting the ball out before you come out of your break, so it’s there.
“Trent has work to do, but Trent will be very fine after he learns the play book and he settles down and becomes more comfortable.
I’m excited for this Billings West kid (Gustafson). I saw him play at our camp and he’s going to be a very good player. I don’t know if he’ll be ready yet, but hopefully now that he knows there’s a possible opening, he’ll come in and be able to pick up things quick.”
Hardy and the rest of the Griz are hoping for the best for Johnson.
