Hammer always has a fire in Lot M1, but that's far away from the main area so maybe no one notices. Not sure what the official policy is. Build it and worst they can do is make you put it out.
Thats was going to be my plan...well thanks for the info.....never hurts to just do something then plead ignorance! haha...stay warm out there buddy!

Your welcome. Good luck with the fire. We may need one in the stadium since it looks like about 9000 fans are bailing on us.

What...what...what! There is only supposed to be about a little over 16,000 MT fans making it to the game. I hope it isn't so and at least 20,000 diehard fans show up.

Are there really 9-10,00 fair weather fans that show up on a regular basis. Thought it would be less since last years following was decent all things considered.

Wish I could be at game but have to work  and listen to game on radio then go home and watch DVR recording of GamePlan. Stupid ESPN is actually letting us pay-per-view so at least can watch game after listening to the Griz move right to left on the radio dial.

Im planning to tailgate in the south parking lot....i want to build a little fire in a wheel barrow to keep warm and maybe cook a little.....never had to build a fire to keep warm at a tailgate before...does anybody know if this is actually allowed? or am i going to get some kind of ticket?

if anybody knows, some insight would be appreciated

thanks!
I hope your using a metal wheelbarrow and not one of those cheap plastic ones.

Tailgate is going to seem empty if their tailgate is indoors.

I know its a little tough to do when its this cold but if you put a few inches of dirt on the bottom it will keep the metal from melting.

Thanks, I might swing through on the way to Hammer's if I park over south of campus. I'll look for the wheel barrel fire. Lol. I may park downtown though.
