T. Poole is in the House!

Well if he'd broken in to the Mayors house or stole a bicycle he'd have been booted for life, at least in Bozeman anyway. :thumb:

Unfortunately in life we often have to learn by our mistakes. Hopefully Trevor has and welcome back kid! As far as Wild Cants comment - fear, simply fear. He knows what this means for teams in the BSC. Big holes and time for JJ.

Life is making mistakes and learning from them, hopefully Trevor has learned something from this. Good to have him back. 1 mistake 1 lesson, time to move forward.

Poole screwed up and it was a really stupid mistake. But as far as I can tell, he accepted full responsibility for his actions and didn't try to come up with excuses or point fingers at anyone but himself. And now he knows exactly what he has to do and I think he will work his tail off to do it. I for one will be rooting for him to set an exemplary standard both on and off the field from now on.

I know, I was just razzing you guys. :) (Football can't get here soon enough). I think he deserves a second chance as well but he will (and should) have to work his tail off to earn his spot back. We often forget that these kids are young and do make mistakes. I can handle one, but the second time harsh punishment should be applied.

From everything I've heard, his suspension and discipline from the AD was nothing compared to what he got from his parents. Good people; he will be working harder than ever and will be a force protecting JJ's blind side. And it adds further depth to the OL.

this I agree with...
welcome back t. poole....as the old saying goes...."good judgement comes with experience and a lot of that comes from bad judgement".....give the kid a second chance for crying out loud...geezzz

PT. You're a dipshit. Welcome back Trevor. The Griz O-line just got better.

Look, from a football standpoint, I'm glad he's still on the team. From a personal standpoint, I have mixed feelings.

I just don't think he deserves a scholarship right now. If he earns it back, then good for him, but I don't think he should have one now.

I don't think it has been established whether he is on scholarship or not yet. I have mixed feelings as well. I don't care from a football standpoint. I think the more important issue is that did he learn a lesson from this that will make him a better person in the future? Possibly, but we don't know that. I am more concerned with what type of people the university is putting out there than what type of football players. Don't get me wrong. I love having a successful football team, but not at all costs and not without consequences for behaviors. I hope we are seeing the light emerge from the darkness of the past couple years of turmoil. It appears as if the system worked. You screw up, you pay consequences. But there appears to be a way to recover from a mistake as well and that is how it should be.

I don't see what's so bad about what PT is saying.

He lost his scholarship, and it stands to reason he still doesn't have it until he's earned his spot back on the team. I have faith he'll earn his starting spot, but it's not unreasonable to expect him to earn it in fall camp or the season before he gets his scholarship back.

That said, it's great to see him back. :thumb:

I wasn't commenting on whether or not Poole should get his scholarship back immediately. I'm sure that will work itself out. When I called PT a dipshit, that was meant to stand on it's own.
