Watching the Syracuse/Western Michigan game....the 'Cuse is up 28-13 and W.Mich. doesn't look much better than the Griz did last year... :lol: :lol:

So, W.Michigan scored their 16th point with 2:20 left in the first half...they're 2:20 better than last year's Griz... :| :|

It looks like Syracuse is going to do what they did last year too.... kind of suck towards the end of the season, get into the NCAA tournament and then turn it around and start kicking ass again. The game ended up closer than the beating the Griz took last year, but still it was a beating. Syracuse won 77-53.

Syracuse is a team that is a nightmare draw for any mid major. Much like Wisconsin their defense is something that mid major teams just do not see during the regular season. Wisconsin (2 seed) beat 15 seed American U 75-35. American U only scored 13 points in the 2nd half while Wisconsin scored 43.

While that was an ugly game for the Griz, the Cuse can make a LOT of teams look silly offensively.

They're just flat-out a bad match-up for most mid-majors.

Well, the record they BEAT lasted about 4 hours...and American gave it a hell of a run against Wisconsin this year....I don't think it'll last all that long.
