Hey folks this an answer to something Swilly posted in another thread about a high school basketball player. I wanted to respond, to an off topic comment, but I also have a desire to see that thread die so I started this thread.
Ha.... I really got a big kick out of this! I mean you act like a high school poster, but I thought people were giving you a bad time!!
It all makes sense now.
OK let me tell you the difference:
1) I did not know you were actually that young, which kind of blows a whole in your whole theory, but we will continue.....
2) The high school kid this board was talking about, did not asked to be talked about. He was minding his own business and all of a sudden a bunch of people are discussing him on an open public board. First constructively but which quickly devolve in some very mean spirited dictions. Swilly you on the other hand tend get what you deserve. You goat people into an arguments and then when you lose you get nasty. To be honest I do not think I have had much to you in over a year. I do feel for a person who logs on to a message board see people ripping him. I do not feel sorry for anyone regardless of age who logs on to a site to pick a fight and gets his fanny handed to him.
3) The most important reason: You hide behind the annominity (as we all do) afforded us as members of EGRIZ. When we are done posting, name calling, and rumor spreading we log off our computer and go are own way. No body knows who we truly are (for the most part). No body can stop us on the street and confront us about what we have posted. On the other hand that high school kid we were talking about does not enjoy that same anominity because we all have used his actual real name.
I am 45 years old, and yes at times I have had to rethink the actions I have taken, it is part of being an adult, but in this case Swilly I really have no regrets.
IF you are indeed under 18, and IF you have hurt by the responses to some of post, then maybe you should leave this board and other primarily adult occupied boards until you are old enough to play with the big boys.
