Cox has to sit out a year because of the transfer rules, and will not be available next year.

A player has to sit out a year from transferring from an NAIA school to a Division I? Although they don't when it's the other way around? That's interesting.

Amber Brooks didn't sit out a year when she transferred to Carroll.

General rule of thumb. If you transfer down D1-A to D1-AA or D-1 to NAIA you don't have to sit out. You transfer up or across ie NAIA to D-1 or D-1 to D-1 you sit out.
