If your coaches don't have swagger, your team probably will not.

Agreed. However, I'm not a big swagger guy. There's a fine line between swagger and overconfidence. Overconfidence leads to unexpected losses.

Can you say Coastal Carolina?

Griz had some serious Swagger Saturday. I knew it the second they walked out of the tunnel!

Biggest "Swagger" team in college football history........Miami in the day?
Always loved to see work a day non-overt swagger teams wipe up on the bully boys of Erickson, Jimmy Johnson, etc. Nebraska, BYU (cammo game) and the best was Don James's Huskies came into the Orange Bowl and destroyed the myth of those pretentenders and their home winning record. Hauck was a swaggerer of some reknown until he came in contact with teams of equal or better talent and of course playing up the swagger was usually replaced with alibi's. In my recollection his teams played timid when faced with the Oregons or Iowa's of the world.

Oregon I dont recall but Iowa, nope you are dead wrong. The picture on the front page of the Des Moines Register Peach, the sports section for those youngsters, the day after the game was a couple of Griz laying lumber to an Iowa running back and his helmet is three feet in the air above the scrum. Kirk Ferentz was impressed with the hard hitters Griz brought. There was nothing timid about the Griz that day.
