SUU/MSU game

16-7 SUU 10 minutes in. SUU has already forced 5 turnovers and MSU offense looks just as bad we did against them.

On target, Rule. If I were a Cat fan I'd be just as frustrated as I was with the Griz during their first half of play. Differences? Well, the cats are dominating the boards, but missing a lot of bunnies. T-Birds up 22-11wit 4 minutes left in the first half.

24-20 SUU at the half. Too bad SUU is sad on offense. Their defense is damn good. At least from what saw of the GRIZ and Cat games so far. Very good fundamental defense, with good discipline and sticking to assignments consistently.

Cats make a run at the start of the second half, but SUU answers. This is shaping up to be an interesting game with potential ramifications for the Griz heading into their road game @ MSU monday night.

Cats win by 2. Pretty ugly game. I did not see the last charge call against SUU very well. It was certainly a questionable call. That game should have gone OT. GRIZ have the edge going into the MSU game. GRIZ with more preparation time and should be more rested. GRIZ should be MSU next game.

I did see it well and it was totally a charge. He was wide open for the game winning 3 and passed it up to drive into a crowded lane.

Agreed. It definitely was a charge... I have no idea why he passed up that wide open look to go charging into the Cat's defender inside. Hell, he could have dribbled in a couple steps and shot a 2 and still been wide open. SUU reminds me a bit of ISU the past few years (not this year though) where they just seem to find new ways to lose every game.

Have to give credit for SUU though for making damn near every team they've played lately look like shit too on offense in the first half. Griz looked like shit in the first half, Cats looked like shit in the first half... hell Weber @Weber looked like shit in the first half against SUU. Their "foul everything that moves" approach seems to throw teams off initially.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I can say the refs made a good call though. I also questioned why he turned down the shot to begin with. :thumb:
