The one name I don't see here is Charlie Cox, a pure point guard who will press for playing time. If Graves and Rundles can keep Charlie off the floor they must be pretty damn good.

Charlie Cox must sit out this year, due to the NCAA transfer rules.

Right. I mean when he's a sophomore in 2007-2008.

And grizzle, if Cox was "terrible," he wouldn't be wearing maroon and silver. He's a good player.

I remember a lot of people saying these guys, to name a few that come to mind, were horrible as freshmen, and they all became All BSC players. :twocents:

Kirk Walker
Scott Zanon
Jeremy Lake
Mike Warhank

cox had ten turnovers in about 10 minutes last when western came to missoula. i saw him play in pick up games in the spring before school was out, and he looked completely out of place. he needs to stay at the d3 level. what you guys need to understand is that just because he is "wearing maroon and silver" doesn't mean he's good. there are a lot of players in d1 that should be playing d3, and there are guys in d3 that could easily play d1.

Wasn't there used to be a previous poster named grizzle?? :werd:

there was indeed a 'previous poster used to be grizzle', but greenie wet his pants when his idiocies were challenged, and now the 'previous poster used to be grizzle' (and about 20 other names), also known as grizfan10 etc etc yawn, only relays his "inside" information to his sycophant proteges, via the pm process, which protects him from being laughed at for his stupidity and suckupitude.

not that i have an opinion.

Yikes, I must have pushed a hot button, kind of harsh. Is that another of AZWolfRoaring's names?

Seems like he's a little less informed than the original Gizzle one of his earlier posts;

No way [Derek Selvig] goes to UM. Hope he does, but who's going to give up the oppurtunity to play against teams like Kansas, Texas, and Ok St. among others every night, not to mention the preseason schedule they play. And to compare him to Morrison is ridiculous.

don't you guys worry. I'm the same grizzle from before. graduated from UM in '98, then moved to spokane until a little over a year ago and then moved back to missoula. and altohoug i was wrong about selvig, it's still ridiculous to compare him to morrison.

I don't know anything about grizzle, but I know a lot about Charlie Cox. I've seen him play many times. He belonged on the same court with Jack McGillis and Trevor Morris at Hellgate, and I think people will be surprised how well he fits on the court at Dahlberg Arena. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding.
