Try reading my post again. I was not the one who stated it was an "in your face" to CGD. I was mocking HIS assertion that it was.

I think it’s reasonable to assume there’s a lot of hurt feelings here and on the UM campus CGD chose MSU. So assuming you meant that as the UM faculty wanted an in your face environment is not far fetched. I can safely say MSU would be just as “butthurt” if the roles were reversed. Will there be another push for CGD in Missoula this year?

I have not heard one person in my life mention college game day going to Bozeman since it aired. That is a pretty huge assumption, and not based in reality. We don't care nearly as much as you all tell yourselves that we do. Its why we don't live on your message board, as well. We like our team, and we don't obsess over yours. But you keep it up.

Game Day would have never been a possibility without all the lobbying from the year prior. And if the stars hadn't aligned for Herbie and his night game assignment, it wouldn't have happened even then. I do, however, love that the Montanan of note who was chosen as the game picker was clearly representative of the typical bozeman-gallatin-ite. Particularly when there were so many possibilities that were actually tied to the school and the community for more than a couple of weekends per year.

Do you think you would have gotten CGD if it weren’t for the big push Missoula and Griz fans had the year prior to get them to the Brawl??? Riding coat tails per the usual. As for CGD, the crowd size was a joke as was the setup on the back 40 on the practice field. Way to show off your campus. And that guest picker you had???? Screamed Bozeman.

Back to your original post, it took you 30 seconds to respond at 730 in the morning. You alright?

No, nothing in this country moves without approval from Missoula. We’re forever thankful. Thank you for the coat tails. Do you think we could have some more for another BSC championship this fall? Yes the Bridgers are very ugly.

Just having my morning coffee. You woke up pretty angry. You alright?

Nothing like checking Egriz in the morning with my morning coffee and seeing yet another obnoxious Cat fan being a total jerk for no apparent reason.

Love me some crying wolf in the morning. Just matching energy.

The fact that your first order of business in the morning is to post on egriz is telling though. I'm guessing you are one of turds on here posting Saturday nights too.

Pathetic.

When I get annoyed with them, I just remind myself how little good they must have in their life if their daily activity for "fun" includes trolling on an opposing team's message board and being mean spirited. It must be really hard to live life with that kind of energy inside, and can you even imagine trying to tell someone about your "hobbies" on a date?

"Yea, I spend hours on a rival football team's message board every day. I like to say things that I think will bring other people down, and take a little bit of their joy from something they love. It is really fun to just be negative, ya know?"

For the uninitiated, O'Malley's appearance was a social media and advertising bonanza for O'Malley, the university and football program. I know nothing of the MMA, but many of the folks who make up the demographic who do, took notice. I'm an irrelevant old person, but my social media exploded Saturday night. O'Malley couldn't have played this any better, it was genius. And it's now. I'm only sorry that all the kids on the recruiting list for the 2024 didn't get to experience 27K and O'Malley last Saturday night. I hope they figure out how to piggyback on this and keep the momentum going.

This screams little bro mentality… you think 20,000 ESPN viewers watching Sean for a minute is a “in your face” to college game day? Then you proceed to duke it out with Ferris state? I don’t even think the CGD media team saw the replay. You should start that whole Twitter campaign again. Maybe that’ll help.

Try reading my post again. I was not the one who stated it was an "in your face" to CGD. I was mocking HIS assertion that it was.

I never said anything about "in your face". My point was that this shows they would get O'Malley as the guest picker THIS YEAR" if game day came to Missoula. I'm giving credit. Chill my dude.

Uh... WAT? Do you not get out much? I'm not rubbing it in, but CGD coming to the state of Montana was historic and a pretty damn big deal. There was a lot of talk about it, everywhere across the state, from both sides... before, during, and after. I've literally heard hundreds of discussions about it, from Cat fans, griz fans, and just football fans in general. I've also heard responses all over the board from my griz fan buddies, some happy for the state that they came to MT, but more of them disappointed that it wasn't in Missoula, especially since um did lobby for it. Then some were flat out seething mad about it. much like the MSU dui situation. Regardless, it was a pretty big topic of conversation.

I am old school boxing fan. Rarely watch MMA. Only aware because my daughter follows him and he is from Montana. Being the best in your field is huge. Congratulations to him. I sit behind the opposing team and realized his popularity when as they were announcing O’Malley the opposing teams captains were pointing it out to each with excitement. Also saw a handful of them run to him after the game to get pictures with him. The publicity and environment Saturday was a positive for the University and felt like a step towards the energy WaGriz hasn’t had in awhile. Felt like playoff atmosphere. I enjoyed it significantly. Now on to next week.

I'm being entirely honest when I say this and don't mean it as a personal attack, I think you must be constantly bringing it up with them because of your weird obsessions with all things bobcats vs grizzlies. I sat and actually thought about it, and I can only remember one comment about it since the week after.

I get that it is a big deal that you guys are still obsessing over, with one guy saying on here that "it is a dream for millions of football fans for Herbie to put the mascot head on from your favorite time." That's really wild to me. I have never dreamed of that, but I'm glad ya'all enjoyed it. Super cool and all, but Griz fans and staff members aren't sitting around thinking and talking about it. That was last season.

Of all the 50+ yro loser bubtrolls on here (and they are legion), you might have the worst case of Streak Derangement Syndrome. The Streak had such a profound impact on your upbringing that your SDS boils and over into every post. This place must be so cathartic for you.

Everyday you get to stand up to your childhood bully!

So lil bro.

Yes, I went back and reread YOUR post and realize that I had misinterpreted it. No worries.

Interesting…

It seems like the CGD visit is going to become the new 1984. Maybe they will patch it into the turf.

Millions of people dreamed of that day, CDA! It is the greatest moment anyone could ever have in their life. Fuck your kids. Fuck your wife. Fuck every accomplishment. It is what completely normal people go to bed thinking about at night.

It was an awesome time for sure. The entire day was electric. Will be a great memory I’ll have forever. That said, I haven’t heard anyone discuss it since maybe a week after it happened. I’m a booster, part of the QB club, and obviously a big fan along with all of my friends. Just never hear about it.

Maybe Krakauer can add an epilogue to his Missoula book about the time Suga came to town.

At least there is video evidence this time. And the show didn't end in a tie.
