Nov. 7 report:

"•Oregon State free safety Justin Strong is out with a concussion. Redshirt freshman Adam Soesman is behind Strong on the depth chart"

Does this worry you or are you just pointing it out? Guessing 90% of football players have had concussions whether they know it or not, unfortunately. Hope this doesn't haunt him or anyone else for that matter.

I'm just adding some information to a subject mentioned in a prior post. Do you have a problem with providing additional information for people to look at? Do you guarantee that he won't have concussion issues at UM.

Oh look, it is the cheerio pisser...

There can be no positive news coming from the Griz Football Program from the date Bobb Stitt was hired until the date he is gone. The rest of you all need to catch up.

tape shows how physical he is ...... I noticed he has speed to burn....I do wonder as to "why" such a talent is coming.....maybe he always wanted to be a griz....

Apparently things didn't work out quite like he hoped with the new staff at OSU....recruited by Riley staff....which went to Nebraska...which UM just hired a coach....

No problem at all. I asked a serious question if it was something you are worried about. Ya know, with your incredible connections and stuff I thought maybe you knew something us regular pee-ons weren't aware of. Like how you get defensive though.

Started 8 games last fall (until going down with a concussion, as others have stated). Was called "the most consistent player in the secondary" and "the defense's most underrated player" by the Corvallis newspaper last fall. On the OSU board, most said he'd start again next year if he stayed around and called him "the hardest hitter on the team period". I'd say he becomes the immediate favorite to start. Huge hitter!

We should never recruit kids with any past injury issues. Does anyone know any 6'3 240lb ribbon dancers to plug into the starting MLB role for next year????

Whoa, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Those ribbon dancer guys are very susceptible to carpal tunnel injuries.

Great get. Welcome to GRIZ NATION, Justin!

Prepare to win Championships.

"Guessing" that 90% have had concussions?

It's a concern when someone is diagnosed with concussion precisely because of a likely substantial number of instances where concussion is not diagnosed. This kid is a drop-down and it appears that "things" changed for him at the Pac-12 level because of a diagnosed concussion. Might have been other factors as well, but there was a singular event involved. There is "a" risk" factor. According to recent studies, it is likely substantial.

Is there a "responsibility" for a coach that plays a player with known concussion risk? There's the usual divsion of opinion, ranging from the idiot faction-- "make's em tough" -- to the snowflake faction -- "take no risks, ever" -- but somewhere in between, responsibility arises. If I were the coach, I'd have a qualified opinion from a qualified professional in the file.

Ask someone else. I didn't raise any concussion issues with him; just Googled him after seeing an earlier post and saw that quote. Oh, I sometimes don't feel like responding to questions from posters who have shown themselves to be dicks.

Even basic facts get you pretty stirred up, don't they? You are highly sensitive. Hypersensitive. Let me guess, you never played sports.
