Strong changing culture at Texas

I have a problem with his "no guns" rule other than that seems pretty reasonable.

I'm pretty sure firearms aren't allowed on most of not all college campuses.

College students can certainly own guns, might not be able to have them on campus but you can certainly own a gun and conceal carry in Texas. The rule is that players should not ever own or be around guns while they are members of the football team. Believe it or not, this expectations list largely comes from his time with Urban Meyer at Florida. This was his rule at Florida and also Ohio State. People definitely have different views on guns than we do at Montana

I guess I read it as "no guns in the football dorms/building?"

I hope the rules Strong is setting will become more common in college athletics, then work their way down to high school.
