Streaming?

If you have a smart TV, it might have the ESPN app on it. If it does, use it to sign up (If not, if you have a set-top box like Apple TV or one of the Chrome devices, use the ESPN app on it). It will probably tell you to enter an address into a browser (on your phone, tablet, or computer) to finish the activation. One you're done there, go back to the app on your TV (or set-top box) and put in the user name and password there and you should be set.

I think Disney+ has their basic subscription with ads (ESPN+, Hulu & Disney +) on sale for $1.99 per month for three months.

https://help.disneyplus.com/article/disneyplus-limited-time-offer

For a limited time — from September 6, 2023 at 12 am PT through September 20, 2023 at 11:59 pm PT — you can sign up for a monthly Disney+ Basic (With Ads) subscription and pay $1.99/month for 3-months.*

Select one of the options below to learn more about our limited time offer:

When is the offer available?
Who is eligible for the offer?
How do I sign up?
How does billing for the offer work and is there a free trial?

*Valid only for new and eligible returning Disney+ subscribers, who are 18 years of age or older. After the 3-month promo period, Disney+ Basic (With Ads) auto-renews at then-current monthly retail price (currently $7.99/mo (plus tax, where applicable)) until canceled. Offer valid until 11:59 PM PT on 9/20/23. Offer price may vary by region and billing partner if located outside of the US or using a foreign app store. Additional terms apply.

Can anyone on here give me a synopsis of streaming and how I get the Griz games
streamed on ESPN+
------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT STREAMING -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Streaming refers to the continuous transfer of smaller files so that you don't have to have a large hard drive space just in order to be able to download larger files (like multiple hours of video).

With streaming, you also don't have to wait for the entire large file to download before opening it. (For hypothetical example, say video length to download time is 1:1. A 1 hour long video would take an hour to download before being able to open. But if you broke the larger hour long file into a bunch of 10 second segments, you only have to wait 10 seconds before being able to play that first file. Then, while you are watching that first file the next 10 seconds is transferring in the background so you get to watch the whole hour of video "seamlessly" while only waiting that initial shorter 10 second time overall.)

Since you don't have to permanently download or possess large amounts of physical videos like VHS, DVDs, or Blu-Rays, streaming allows ease of portability, too. If you have a Dish package, it is limited to where you installed the equipment. As long as you have access to the internet, you can take your living room TV viewing elsewhere.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------- USING ESPN+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(This is for a basic setup like watching on your computer, no need to worry about downloading an app unless you want to put it on your TV):

ESPN+ content is hosted on the internet at https://www.espn.com/watch/schedule/_/type/live/channel/ESPN_PLUS.
-Note the "Live Now", "Upcoming", and "Replay" links towards the top (3rd line of text down).
-Click "Upcoming"
-Click "SAT SEP 16" on the new line of text just below
-Scroll down to "Ferris State (MI) vs. Montana" under the Football section (visiting team is always listed first)
-Or here's the direct link for this weekend's game: https://www.espn.com/watch/player/_/id/79bed6ce-fffb-4588-bb59-befeaf9f5080

-As already noted, ESPN+ is a subscription service and requires payment or an existing bundled deal

Likewise, you can view replays of the Butler and Utah Tech games (or most of this year's soccer or volleyball matches) by first selecting "Replay" then selecting the date and scrolling to find.
Here's the direct link for Sep 9's "Montana vs. Utah Tech": https://www.espn.com/watch/player/_/id/a743e5f0-3700-482f-a6dd-bb94bb42c8eb
and for Sep 2's "Butler vs. Montana": https://www.espn.com/watch/player/_/id/5a9f0c78-e5ea-4b80-a77c-f989e46b3c9a
